The New SL100D feels like an upgraded version of the SL60Wwhere the main difference is that it has 100watts of power output over the 60watts that this one hasInside the box of the Godox SL100D there is a plastic cover, a very long cable that plugs directly into the light unit and a bowens mount reflector (this reflector is the new version that they have been using with their new lights)There is no external battery support on this light and it doesn't come with a carrying case or with a  remote control,(but it is compatible with the  RC-A6 remote control that you can buy on Amazon)So no remote control, but the lights has been upgraded to be able to connect with the Godox App on your smartphone via Bluetooth.There is no need to register, you can add multiple GODOX lights and you can control the brightness and the 8 different special effects (3 flash effects, 3 lightning effects, a faulty bulb and the TV effect)This is a 100W daylight balanced light that runs at 5600KThis is a decent amount of power, for products videos, YouTube videos, etc.I recommend using this with a softbox to get a softer lightThis light has 32100 LUX at 1 meter with the new reflector and it is dimmable from 0 to 100 percent in increments of 1.it is very color accurate and it has a high CRI value of 96. This is the same CRI that other expensive lights from Godox and Aputure have and just for comparison sake the SL60 has a CRI of 94this light has a bowens type mount, so you can mount different light modifiers (like a softbox)it has an umbrella holder, and it has the same locking mechanism as the SL60 which is good but it will make some noise when you try to adjust the tilt.they also upgraded a few details like the part on the front that hold the LED Chip, which is now all metal instead of plasticThe unit itself has a better look as well as the back panel, so it doesn't have that cheap look that the older SL60 hasWHAT I DON'T LIKE:The fan makes a lot of noise and it seems that the higher the brightness the faster the fan will spinthis light is not going to be good for interview or if you are making videos where a silent light is important.but for other videos where the microphone is not too close to the light unit or where you are going to put background music, it's going to be a very good option, powerful, color accurate, easy to use and it sure won't overheat! And the best is the priceIf I had to recommend buying this one or the SL60, I'd tell you just get this one.If you need a completely silent light, I would recommend getting Godox UL60, but be aware that the light is almost double the price of this one.

It arrived like this. Upon opening and trying out, it would not turn on. Wouldn’t be so upset, but no replacement was offered, so now I get to wait 5 days for a refund and then another waiting period to buy and ship a new Light. I needed this light for a time crunched project, and now I have to do without👍

The media could not be loaded.  This product is defectiveIt's is working 100%But there is leakage currentWhen u touch the metal surface it will shock ur it DO NOT IGNORE ITI first thought it's just a common thing but when I google about it, Google say it's very dangerous I read a article and it says "even the small amount of current cause harm and be fatal for human body"PLEASE Always CHECK IT

It's has very little power output when attached to softbox light become more dark u have to take pics at f4 for maximum exposure
