stood up to a 550 ft-lbs impact wrench several times on several sizes. sockets are no worse for the wear. You cannot go wrong for the price. If you are looking for an ultra premium smooth glossy finish, these are not it, but you are paying 30 dollars so don't be too critical and be happy they can handle the heavier work. actually i bet some people would appreciate the rougher finish as they will be less likely to slip from your hands if they all greased up.
