Perfect for what I ordered then for
As someone who hasn't done any woodwork before, I had a good look around at all the available types and reviews and settle on this ones due to good reviews and I'm not disappointed. They are very sturdy and heavy and they do not feel like lightweight cheap plastic. They worked well at clamping some old skateboards together while the glue dried .

Good item.
Good clamps; well made and does the job nicely although I find them a tad too "flakey" - not like proper G-Clamps. They do hold items nice and strong but wouldn't want to exert too much energy into the clamp. For the money, good item and relatively well made too. Don't let this put you off, I'm thinking of getting another pair because they suit my purposes exactly.

Great
These are great - easy to fit and adjust. Good quality. Reasonable price IMO. Even bought a 2nd pair (different size) I liked them so much. Really helped with a fence repair project when I really could have done with a 2nd pair of hands. Cannot find fault tbh.

Well made clamps, good steel, easy to use.
I bought the 150mm 6 inch WorkPro bar clamps. They are of much better quality than I had expected. The range between the jaws is indeed 6 inches. The bar itself is thick, hard and unlikely to deform. It looks like chrome steel. There is a quick release lever which allows the screw section to slide along the bar to be at the distance you require. The screw is well formed, strong, and holds well. Note: work may be only clamped together, not spread; I see no way to turn the stock around. After a while, I saw an opportunity to make the clamp more versatile by acting as a mount for a wildlife camera. So near the tail end I marked the bar. I began with a very small drill bit to cut a pilot, and then drilled incrementally until 5mm was reached. Applying a drop of light oil to the drill tip assists cutting, as the steel is very hard. I tapped a thread into the hole with a 1/4-20 set of taps. Running an appropriate bolt through, I tightened on a tripod ball head, and presto, I now have a clamp for holding a wildlife trail camera which is now outside working very well. Altogether I am very pleased with the quality of these clamps.

Reassuringly heavy.
Needing an extra pair of clamps for a job the following day I chose these. Of all the options from various manufacturers these stood out for their sturdiness. The dimensions, particularly the thickness of the bar at 6mm (1/4'') looked impressive. When they arrived I wasn't disappointed, the weight of the box alone indicated something substantial inside. I was further justified in my choice when I came to use them, they're very solid, the cast metal part is steel, not a dubious aluminium alloy & the screw/handle appears well made & works with a smooth action. The quick release ratchet engages firmly. The whole thing is finished well & has a quality appearance. I've only used them on one job so far, the one they're in use on right now, but on first impressions I'm certain I'll be using them often.

Reasonable for the price
These look and feel reasonable for what I need them for and at a cheap enough price.I'm not a professional just a part time DIYer but from handling them they will be fine for that use, they slide up and down okay and the screw system to tighten them up works as it should.I paid £15 for the two.
