Grace: The American Vogue Years

Great coffee table book or a book to make a large impact for styled shelves. Book arrived on time and in great condition. The book is housed in a large red "case." The book itself is red too. The red doesn't fit with the colors in my room I guess I just assumed it would be black. Perhaps I missed in the description. Great addition for anyone interested in fashion, photography or just inspiration for a creative mind. The pages themselves are not glossy but more matte if that matters to someones preference.

Excellent. Daughter loved it. Expensive book and pages should have been perfect for that price. Because we had the tools and skills we opted to separate the first 20 pages by hand!

408 pages 11 pounds beautiful photos- I remember many of these. That being said couldn’t help but notice only 3 black people , & 1 Asian. Do better Vogue.

Unglaublich schönes Kaffeetischbuch von Vogue's grandioser Grace Coddington!Sie hat das Buch in Fotographen aufgeteilt, mit denen sie über die Jahre zusammengearbeitet hat. Dabei gibt sie uns auch jeweils ihre Einschätzung und ein paar persönliche Erfahrungen aus den Collaborations mit.Kenner werden viele der bekanntesten Bilder von Grace wiederentdeckten, wobei ich auch einige meiner persönlichen Favoriten vermisst habe.Insgesamt dennoch ein herausragendes Buch, welches ich mir immer wieder anschaue und jedesmal Neues entdecke.

Bought as a gift for my wife- an exquisitely packaged and produced book, perfectly illustrating the vision of Grace and her collaborators. It provides a tempting glimpse of some of her work with photographer friends and favourite models whilst at American Vogue. Humour, beauty, wit and clothing chosen over these years translated into her visionary dreamscapes for women to recreate their own style of the moment. The dedication to Anna Wintour on the first page a moving thank you to honour an editor in chief who encourages and allows only the most dedicated to succeed. A book that like most things will only get better with time.
