The Rainbow Tulip

An autobiographical story of an immigrant mother who speaks no English and makes a multi-colored costume for her daughter to wear to school for dancing around the Maypole on May Day. The daughter is at first embarrassed by her tulip dress being different from those of the other girls, but after her dress is a hit, she is proud to introduce her mother to her teacher.

The product is great, but very disappointed in the service.I ordered this product on April 21, with Prime shipping. It took 18 days to receive it- May 9.

I love the story but the book came wrinkled as though it had been in high humidity or water.

Beautiful illustrations and lovely story. The story easily allows for critical thinking questions to ask your son or daughter after reading.
