The Design Needs Improvement
I like the cost and compared to my previous device the readings are accurate.However, you need a lot of blood and it's doesn't always run down a rather long area to hit the sweet spot. Initially, I wasted a lot testing strips. I'm wasting less, but still one waste is too much. No idea why they design the testing strips needing so much blood and having such a long area to run down to reach the right spot to measure. Needing so much blood means most people will squeeze their finger to get a bubble of blood and apparently squeezing affects the reading accuracy.I hope they improve the design

Very good very basic meter
Received this a few years ago ,it worked very well for simple blood glucose testing,was just given a new one and works perfectly for what I need. Used One Touch Ultra which has MANY more extra features which for some are very necessary for proper tracking and enabled direct download of info to Dr's office
