Product works great, give it a few tries
I have been using this device for a couple of years. It really works. I was at the point where I couldn't do active things because of occasional leaks when running or even hiking. The first few times I wore it it was very uncomfortable and irritated to the point of a small amount of blood when I removed the device.I continued to wear it when I exercised and quickly got used to it and don't even know its there at all. I used it when I play pickleball or even hiking and never leak at all. It has been a complete life changer in that I can now exercise without worrying about leaking.I don't purchase a new one every 30 days. I just buy embroidery thread an Michaels and cut it to lenth and tie a knot.

It works !!
As a runner, bladder leaks at 5 miles/10 miles and racing are inevitable at a certain age perhaps! No more!! This really works, is completely comfortable, I can’t feel it at all. I’m also using the Elvie pelvic floor trainer (brilliant) and use this device when running. No more cold wet leggings at the end of a leaky long run!

Poor construction/Quality
I felt uncomfortable using this product because it seemed so flimsy. I opted not to use it. It probably would be a better idea to consult a physician and see if you can get fitted for something like a pessary, which can be easily inserted and removed safely.

Leak-free running!
I’ll first say that I’m an OB/GYN and have treated many patients with stress incontinence. I bought this product on the advice of a pelvic floor physical therapist, who determined that I have some urethral hypermobility and pelvic floor muscle fatigue. I prefer to run in the morning, and I was clenching my pelvic floor muscles and then they’d tire out and I’d have stress incontinence leaks for the rest of the day when I’d cough or sneeze. I’ve started using this device for workouts and I’ve noticed a difference right away - it’s helped with the feeling of “heaviness” I used to get while running, and has nearly eliminated leaking later in the day. It’s got step-by-step instructions and I found it relatively easy to insert. It’s comfortable while in place. It’s silicone so pretty easy to clean.I don’t imagine it would work as well for different anatomy (like severe prolapse), but hard to know until you try it. The inserter device is larger than a tampon applicator, so if you have difficulty placing tampons, this might be challenging. I think it would be possible to use a water-based lubricant to make insertion easier if that were an issue (don’t use silicone-based lubricant as that can affect the integrity of the silicone device). All in all, this is way less expensive than a traditional pessary or surgery, so probably worth a try for mild stress incontinence. I will definitely be recommending this as an option for patients.

Anatomy makes a difference
Nobody can tell you if this is going to work for you or not. Everyone’s anatomy is a bit different so everyone’s outcome will be different. I’ll provide my experience here, but unless you try it, you’ll never really know if it works for you. It’s not that expensive so I’d recommend you just try it and find out.Construction- fairly standard tampon type applicator, but about twice as wide. Easy to handle, but because it’s wider if you’re not paying attention, it can pinch as you advance it. The silicone device seems sturdy and well made. I was concerned that the thin cotton string would gradually cut through it, but it seems to be holding up well. Overall, I’d give it a 4 for construction.Comfort- I’m not going to lie, it takes a bit of getting used to. The first day I had to take some OTC meds because there was a sensation of pressure that was uncomfortable. But over the next 3 days that went away almost completely. It can shift a bit when you go to the bathroom, so you may have to readjust it afterward or it can be unclear . Overall, I’d give it a 4 for comfort.Convenience- since you place it and leave it, you can’t get much more convenient than that. Although I would say that having to wash the applicator afterward could be an issue if you were out and had to reinsert it for some reason. Although it would be more convenient to have a disposable version, this is more environmentally friendly. 5 starsEffectiveness-normally, I have frequent dribbles that become much more if I laugh, sneeze or exercise. This took care of the dribbles completely, but does not manage much beyond that for me. Obviously I don’t sneeze, laugh and exercise 24/7 so as long as I assume the “Mom sneeze” position, I’m ok. I had hoped that this would be a miracle device that would manage all my issues, but unfortunately it doesn’t. I still wouldn’t say its a waste because it did manage the frequent annoyance and helps a little bit with the more sudden episodes. For that reason I’m giving effectiveness a 2Overall 3.5 stars
