Surprisingly better than I expected
This is probably the tastiest low calorie hot chocolate I’ve ever had. Since I’ve been watching my nutrition I’ve switched a lot of things to either Stevia or Monk fruit and this was very surprisingly delicious. It’s a great way to end a hard day and wind down.

So yummy
This drinking chocolate is so good. It's rich and smooth. I usually mix it into my coffee, but it's definitely good on its own too. It's expensive, yes, but it makes for such a tasty "sometimes treat".

Very sweet!
I've been looking for sugar free hot chocolate mixes and thought I found one. The Lakanto mix disolved well I mixed 2/3 hot water and 1/3 milk in a 12 oz. cup. It is incredibly sweet and I don't know if I will drink the rest. Probably give it to a neighbor. Some time ago I purchased a different "sugar free" hot chocolate drink mix. Except, the sweetener was maltodextrins, which is SUGAR! I wish I could buy hot chocolate mix without any kind of sugar, that would be perfect. Hey Lakanto - this would sell well!!!

WOW! I Get to Enjoy Winter!
While I'm super excited to be cleaning up my lifestyle and improving my health, I've been super bummed about missing out on some of the sugary sweet indulgences I associate with the holidays and winter season. What's winter without hot chocolate? I am not doing keto per se, but definitely am reducing my carbs and avoiding excessive sugar.I happened to search a forum for ideas on lower carb hot chocolate and saw this product mentioned.I ordered and ,frankly, I'm flabbergasted. I still can't believe there's an option that tastes this great!A few of things to note:1. When you're super conditioned to super-sweet drinks and snacks (and most of us are), your first sip may taste a little "less sweet". Get through your first cup and your taste buds will adapt and say "Oh, that's actually plenty sweet!" It literally took a few sips for my brain to adapt to the slightly less sweet (but totally sweet enough) taste. My next cup, there were no adaption sips necessary. Brain 100% satisfied.2. Someone complained about the zip-bag. I don't understand this. It's extremely simple, and there's no reason you should have drinking chocolate powder exploding out of the bag unless you've done something silly. Tap your bag, like you would any powdery product to be sure it isn't at the top, open, make your drink. Super simple, folks.3. I'm used to just adding water to instant hot cocoa mixes, so I'm fine with doing the same with this product. However, I can definitely see that a dollop of whip cream or using warmed almond milk would give it a thicker/richer texture some people may want. I'm totally fine without that.4. Stir it well and get to the bottom of the cup with that stirring. It'll dissolve well if you just stir!I am so happy with this product, and I just find "drinking chocolate" such a snazzy name too. "I'm going to have a cup of drinking chocolate" is my new favorite line at home. Say it with your preferred accent!

Bitter, poor package design: powder immediately fills zip lock grooves+cannot seal
The cocoa is bitter and made the coffee I added it to taste worse. The plastic bag as a container is a bad idea: I don't see how the zip-like seal on any of the bags could work because after I had opened the container bag and poured out a couple spoonfuls, I found that the groves meant to fit and lock together to form the zip-lock were coated in the dry, powdered cocoa, and could not engage together in order for the bag to be sealed. When I tried to shake the cocoa off the grooves it did no good and more cocoa became airborne.I think that even if one uses a spoon and is careful that eventually the fine, airborne cocoa powder would soon accumulate and coat the plastic groves that form the zip lock closure (making it useless).Instead of cutting open the top of the cocoa bag that is above the zip seal, I had torn the plastic strip off beginning from the designated tab (slit), and the slight motion had caused the very fine cocoa powder to become air born and spill upwards out of the package (the zip lock mechanism either had not been sealed from the time of manufacture or had come apart as I pulled the tab above it), and cocoa powder settled on the front of my laptop and in the groves of the touchpad (I vacuumed it but it feels like there is some still there). This product would have been better packaged in a firm container with an easy to open lid such as a jar or the old fashioned cocoa containers so that powdered cocoa will not become airborne every time the soft package is opened, plus the zip lock mechanism clogged. As the powder was so fine and volatile (and somewhat bitter), I did not want to bother transfering it to another container; I tried folding the top of the opened, unsealable cocoa bag over, putting a clip on it and then putting the whole package in a clear, zip lock baggie, but without the cocoa's zip closure functional, the powder had started to work its way out into the clear baggie.Originally I had looked for a natural chocolate syrup (in place of popular commercial brands which have preservatives), to add to coffee, and/or milk, and being sugar free was not a requirement: not finding something, I looked for a powdered form and had ordered this product. As this cocoa was bitter anyway, I threw the whole package in the trash and do not recommend this item. Have ordered some syrup sweetened w/agave but am not sure how that will work out.

Amazing low sugar hot chocolate mix
Delicious! Our favorite way to make hot chocolate. Does not have the yucky overly sugary aftertaste most hot chocolate mixes have. Seems healthy. Wish it was cheaper but worth it for the price.
