Read this in one sitting as I didn't want to put it down. So often we forget to slow down and be grateful for what we have. Flash the donkey reminds us of this important truth.

I love Rachel’s writing style. It’s like having a sit down discussion with a good friend over scones and tea. Maybe even sweet tea.

Loved the story of Flash, how he came to be and all the lessons he would teach. I'm new to the Bible so I really enjoyed how the story of Flash was incorporated with Scripture. I loved reading about how God works in such wonderful ways in our lives. I never knew donkeys have a cross on their back or the reason why. That was just fascinating to me.

I was hooked in the first few paragraphs. I wanted to read more about this particular little lost creature, his "personality" and antics. The author did a good job of painting her own very real life as well. This is a story of how the two interact. Being an "animal person", I really wanted more about Flash the donkey. But watching God use him in the author's life was good. Many may relate.

This book was filled with beautiful messages, and its simplicity is sure to appeal to readers of all levels. I loved the fact the author was willing to open her heart and mind to the messages she was receiving from her beloved donkey.

I loved Flash, and I learned soooo much spiritually from Flash, it made me want a donkey or two that I could love and learn from!
