Three generations of the Manca family have farmed the San Giuliano Estates in the ancient Alghero region in northwest Sardinia. It is here that diverse varieties of olive - Bosana, Frantoio, Semidana and Leccino - are harvested to produce San Giuliano Fruttato. These olives are picked between October and November when they are not fully ripe, resulting in an intense, Spicy and fruitier taste: hence, the name Fruttato (Fruitier). The Fruttato also has hints of artichokes and is accompanied by a pleasant fragrance of fresh olives and grasses. San Giuliano Fruttato is excellent on garden salads, seafood salads, vegetables, soups, meats, dipping bread and for marinating.
