WORKPRO Hog Ring Pliers with 500 Pcs 3/4" Hog Rings

First time using hog ring pliers. Never even heard of them until I needed to replace a cover on my rear seat. These are fairly simple to use. Pretty strong. You simply open them up, install one of the supplied rings and release for it to hold the ring. Then place it were you need it and squeeze. Be sure to press down on your project to catch all needed clips. However, after installing about 60-70 rings, I noticed that the spring was not clamping down on the ring without assistance. The pliers were sticking. Was about to send back but decided to try a little WD-40. A small shot of that and they are loose as a goose again and working just fine. So, I guess they will require slight maintenance over time which isn't bad. I highly recommend using these if you need to do upholstery work. ** Note ** Video provided is before I added WD-40. Work fine now.

Excellent hog ring pliers. They worked exactly as I expected, held the hog ring perfectly while I was able to use my other hand to steady the bungee cord I was working on.

This single-staple design is the style I'd use for automobile seats, not the bulky self-feeding style. This plier style allowed me to get right down deep into the cushion to the wire frame very easily. I'd suggest a smaller staple though but these did work.

This product was definitely a big surprise for the price. It works just as well as the most expensive ones out there, and I like that it holds the hog rings without any need to apply pressure. This is essential since I use it for bagging ground venison or venison sausage. I have also used it for fencing, and it is just a champ of a tool. I am very happy with this purchase. Only one improvement would be suggested, and that is to increase the length of the handle by 2 inches. However, It is not a deal-breaker for me and it has worked very well nonetheless.
