I had this dishwashing basket in my wish list for probably over a year before I finally convinced myself to purchase it. Now I want to yell at my past self for all of the trouble I could have saved myself. For those wondering, as I did, the holes in the bottom of the basket are MUCH smaller than those on the sides and are comparable to a colander's holes. This has lived in the bottom rack of my dishwasher since I purchased it and still looks as great as it did on day one, so it appears to hold up to heat very well. And best of all, now when I use a reusable straw, I can just toss it in the dishwasher rather than doing the whole pipe cleaner song-and-dance at the sink.(And for those wondering, yes, I also use this for my chopsticks that aren't made of wood or bamboo and I have not had a single one slip out the bottom.)

We replaced a 28 year old dishwasher and found we needed a basket for the top rack as the bottom rack utensil basket is really inconvenient to just chuck in the odd spoon or fork. This basket fits in the corner of the top rack and does the job nicely for jar lids, spoons etc. Heavy duty, should last for years.

We’ve finally moved on from baby bottles and are firmly in the toddler straw cup stage, so we no longer needed the giant dishwasher basket for bottle parts…but the straw cup parts are only top-rack safe. This little basket is the perfect solution! It takes up minimal space in the top-rack and has plenty of space for straws and spill-proof valves. Great purchase!

This is perfect for straws and chopsticks. The holes in the bottom are small enought that nothing slips through. I even put corn on the cob holders and other smaller items in there instead of the silverware rack.

We use chopsticks for everything and it has always been a hassle to clean them since you can't put them in the dishwasher. Now we can wash those, water bottle straws, even bottle parts for our baby in this. I love how durable it is and I love the color. You could also use this to hold various things around the home or utensils for a picnic.

This extra basket was perfect for the additional cutlery I need to clean in the dishwasher.

It is also great to hold those cheapy little paring knives without the blade dropping through the bottom.

I have an LG dishwasher that has a basket with fairly large holes at the bottom. My chopsticks and stainless straws always fall through. This basket was the answer to my problems. I used it 5 times so far and no issue. Would recommend!

For some reason, my new dishwasher made my Samsung does not come with a basket that can hold chopsticks, this basket is well made, fit perfectly, and I never had to wash my chopsticks separately again.
