I'm absolutely thrilled with my new set of dishes! They truly tick all the boxes for me, and I can confidently say they're the best value in dinnerware I've ever come across.Let's start with the aesthetics. These dishes are simply beautiful. They exude elegance and sophistication, and I can't wait to show them off at my next dinner party.But they're not just a pretty face! These dishes are incredibly sturdy and durable. (They are beautifully glazed stoneware) I know they can handle everyday use and even the occasional bump or drop. Plus, they're both dishwasher and microwave safe, making them incredibly convenient to use and clean.Here's the kicker: they achieve all this at a fantastic price point! I truly believe I got an unbeatable deal on this set.In short, if you're looking for dinnerware that's beautiful, functional, and won't break the bank, then look no further! These are the perfect dishes for anyone who appreciates quality and style.

I spent many hours looking for a new set of dinnerware that both looked nice and was practical for everyday use. I was not looking for fine dinnerware for special occasions. I like the looks of this set, but I do have a few requirements. They must be microwave safe (not the type of plate that gets real hot when it comes out of the microwave). These are perfect. Rim stayed reasonably cool and no issues with grabbing onto it. They also had to be dishwasher safe. Again, these are perfect. No issues to date.Now we have to see about durability for every day use. Only time will tell. So far so good.Overall I rate this a 5 star. The set came in perfect condition. No breaks, cracks, or chips. There are some very minor flaws throughout the set. I am picky, but the flaws are so minor and few that unless you scrutinize it, you will never know. Again, I would have no issues having guest over and eating off these plate. They would not qualify for fine china, but they are terrific for everyday use and not have to be embarrassed by them.Both my wife and I like these so much that I ordered a 2nd set yesterday.

These Mikasa stoneware dishes seem sturdy and are definitely beautiful. The amber/brown glaze on the plates and mugs actually has a slight metallic sheen that was unexpected from the online photos, but is really quite lovely.All of the pieces arrived in good shape; the manufacturer's packaging is well-designed. I didn't find any chips or dings on any of the pieces when I unpacked the case.I did notice a few minor glaze imperfections when inspecting the pieces, but overall the quality of the dishware set is excellent.4.5 stars

I’ve had a lot of different sets of dishes in my life, but this set is my absolute favorite! It’s just stunning. Came packaged so carefully, not a single blemish on any of the items. Washed them up in the dishwasher and have used them several times, dropped a bowl on the counter (about a six inch drop) and did not do a thing, very sturdy and thick, the quality is truly amazing. Very happy buyer here!

I think they are much pretty in the pictures. The dishes and bowls design gives them this gold look. Some reason the cups lose this look and are more brown tones.The dishes are thick and the rim cups up.

This set is absolutely gorgeous, and they came very well packaged to ensure no damage. They're dishwasher safe and microwave safe, sturdy with a bit of weight. Overall every piece feels very well made. I only wish the cups were bigger, but that's because I'm a big tea and coffee drinker. It doesn't take away from how I love this set in the slightest. I'm actually considering buying it again just to fill up my cupboards.

The dishes were very pretty but much too heavy for what I was wanting! They felt like good quality dishes. The Mikasa label is not stamped on the bottom of the dishes and that kind of bothered me a little bit, but all in all, I think these were a great buy for some good quality dishes! Unfortunately, I needed to return them because of their heaviness. I don't think they are any heavier than the average stoneware and I should have realized this before ordering.

These are my new every day dishes & I absolutely love them. The only disappointment is that I cannot buy the accessory pieces on Amazon or online because they don’t ship to Canada 😡
