SwissGear Cecil 5505 Laptop Backpack, Black Hex, 18-Inch

Has lasted through a school year and still going strong. We have bought many Swiss Gear backpacks and don't think we'll be changing the brand any time soon. Every one we have had lasts 4+years of hard use and it is well worth the money to have the durability and know that it is a quality product. Perfect amount of room for books, papers and computer. The computer compartment is nicely cushioned and even with kids throwing the bag on the ground.

Purchased this as a replacement for an older school-style backpack that is about as comfortable to wear as a sack of potatoes. The back support padding really makes a difference! I appreciate the sleek design - no bulging pockets to get caught on things - and the multiple pocket sections. The materials and make feel like good quality. Easily fit under the airplane seat on my flights. Looking forward to taking this on many trips!

I love this laptop bag for work. I use it as a PTA in home health and it is so easy to wipe clean and still looks brand new even after 6 months of use. So many compartments for all the items I have to carry as well.

This replaces a 15-year-old High Sierra backpack, which wore like iron despite regular beating-ups. I use it as an airline personal item 3-4 times a year and as my mobile office probably 20 times a year, for 3 to 10 days at a time. The only reason I chose this over the High Sierra is the logo style--the HIgh Sierra's logo is huge and not very professional looking, and I use the bag for work events, where it needs to look grown-up.This pack is lighter than the High Sierra, with more comfortable straps. The laptop compartment easily fits my MacBook Pro and I love the Velcro strap that holds it secure. Lots of room for stuff inside, with several pockets for organizing. I could easily fit 2-3 days of clothes in here, plus a laptop, tablet, wallet, etc. It doesn't feel as sturdy overall as my old High Sierra and the zippers definitely feel less quality, so we'll see how it wears over time. So far, it's done several outings as my mobile office and has performed well with laptop, tablet, phone, Airpods, several books and notebooks, pens/pencils, and a load of chargers.I wish the very outside (smallest) pocket had a closure of some kind--a zip or snap or Velcro or something. It's open and makes me nervous so I don't use it. Otherwise, this is very well designed and easy to organize. Here's hoping it lasts a long time.

I bought this bag in August of 2021 to use for college. I am happy to say that the backpack is still in use everyday since I received it in the mail. The bag like super sturdy and lives up the expectations from a swiss gear product. I protected my laptops from multiple falls on the ice, rain, and light drops, I just took it on vacation in Europe and I was able to wear it as a personal item on all my flights in and outside of the US. It is a great bag for work, travel and school.My only negative for this product, if you are using a larger laptop (larger than 14inches) the top of the laptop will rub on the top of the bag, after heavy usage for 1 and a half years the fabric in the large compartment where the laptop was rubbing is now very thin, If I used it that heavily with that laptop for another year it would have torn or fallen apart. If you have a larger laptop you use regularly, this is not the bag for you, otherwise it is perfect.

I bought this for my daily use. I have no regrets and I know I have a great quality product.

The bag is lightweight and has a bounty of storage. Sometimes, having too many pockets though, can be detrimental for finding things. It does need a metal key ring clip to keep you car keys on while you are traveling. The plastic one provided is weak and I almost broke it the first day.The bag provided good soft protection for your laptop, but does not have the better hard-sided suspension storage pocket.The zippers are ok, but not great. They need to be bigger and close easier. The pulls are good and comfortable.The straps are comfortable on my shoulders and easy to get on and off. They are easy to adjust and are big enough for larger folks.Overall a good value for the money, but not really built for a road-warrior.

It can hold a lot of stuff! It's light, the zippers are great, and it's comfortable.

Una mochila super casual, esta muy fresa 10/10 pero si la quieres para la escuela yo creo que unas dos libretas, laptop de 15 y otras cositas mas que necesites no habra problemas, pero si vas a cargar mas cosas esta mochila no es para ti, como lo comento es super casual para un dia tranquilo, yo la uso para el trabajo cargo mi comida, audifonos y cosas personales no tan grandes e indiferentes. Y esta muy bien. Muy buenos materiales pero la mochila no es para cargar varias cosas pesadas.

Un excelente producto y calidad muy amplio justo lo que buscaba

I've been using this for university for about a month now, it is very spacious. I carry my laptop, 3 notebooks, lunch, lab coat, 2 water bottles, and other personal belongings and still have room left in the backpack. It is fairly heavy and used for long hours every day so I would say it's pretty durable. Comfortable for traveling and carrying around campus. Straps take a couple of days to adjust to your body but are overall comfy. Would recommend.
