I think it worked
The red is annoying as hell to me, which means it’s probably annoying to rats.I did see a difference after a few days of using this on red. We unplugged it and literally about 5 minutes later, a family of rats came out of the vent. We turned it back on after that and haven’t seen them since. I almost think they wanted to leave but we’re too afraid to go by the noise so when it stopped they dashed for it. I’ve never seen 5 come out at a time.I also noticed a rat stare into the hole we put it into in the ground and a rat walked up and started scratching at its ears, it seemed confused at what it wanted to do.So, 4 stars because I think it did a good job, but would give another star if you could control it remotely (annoying to keep pulling it up to change it from the vent/hole in the ground)

The setting #3 (blue light) was enough to make a raccoon leave my house.
These work great. I had a raccoon who got in through a large roof vent and was over my library ceiling. She couldn’t access the attic from there, but I needed to get her out. Important to know that this is winter, and she was therefore not pregnant and not with pups. One critical thing I learned, is that setting one of these repellers at the highest noise setting (blue light), was sufficient to get her to come out. The instructions say they should be kept vertical and not allowed to become horizontal. So I took a plastic jug 3”x5”,6” and cut a place for the plug-in prongs to fit through from the outside of the jug and added some heavy stoned to keep it upright. I then put the receptacle end of an extension cord inside, tied a knot within a few inches and put the plug through a hole I cut in the screw top of the jar. I lowered the pest repeller taped outside of the jug with the extension cord attached inside, and lowered it into the house through the vent. This was to keep it vertical so it wouldn’t lay down which it would otherwise have done. However, I found out that if they get unplugged or you have an outage, even brief, they will reset at the lowest setting. I wanted the highest noise setting. What happened is that at first it worked, then it didn’t and she went right back in. Here’s what happened: within 1 day of the Pest Repeller being inside with the raccoon, she got uncomfortable and came out of the roof vent she had been entering. I was planning to catch her off the roof so I could install a cage box I ordered (and was waiting to receive) over the vent to keep her out. After staying away, the next day she came back and went right in. I was frustrated, then remembered a brief outage the day before. I went on the roof and retrieved the unit and saw it was reset on the lowest setting. So I reset it and put it back in the opening and also added another one I bought. I figured out with this one, all I really had to do was to plug the unit into the receptacle end of an extension cord, tape them together, then lower it down, but not let it bottom out, which kept it vertical. The reason they have to be taped together is because it could come unplugged and the unit would be gone. The cage box that I had ordered finally arrived and I decided to make it like a trap…to trap her outside of it. I installed 2 hinges in the back with that side upwards on the roof, positioned so that if closed, it would completely enclose the vent. On the front, (lower side of the roof) I set it up so the front was held up with 2 sticks. That night she came out and knocked over the sticks, the cage dropped down and she was locked out. Yay!!! The main thing was to bring her out and the Ultrasonic Pest Repeller did the job. Otherwise she would still be in there. By the way, the reason I knew so much about what she was doing is that I temporarily hooked up a Ring Stickup Camera and it would wake me up at night when she was out on the roof. That helped a lot, because when she finally got locked out, I was not home and out to dinner with friends. I raced home and she was gone.

Amazing This Thing Really Works, so far.
I fighting the losing battle against the tree rats that live in my area. They like my fruit trees and the seed that I put out for the birds. Yes I clean up on a daily basis. I've used sprays and other deterrents but they just laughed at it and enjoyed my plants. This is a first thing I've used where on the first night they did not come, I've been using it for about a week and so far so good. I changed the settings every other day so that they don't get used to it. I still see rats around the bird feeder but they're not in my succulent garden, thank you God.

Squirrels do not like this sound
It took 8 days for the squirrel to leave the house that is being rehabbed. It finally went out the front door. It was disoriented and lost half its weight before it finally went out the open door.

So Far So Good
Before ordering I read a lot of the review and watched several of the videos which were pretty good. One of the reviews was about a man who lowered one down into a space to get rid of a racoon. This proved to be really helpful. When I got my repeller and had read that it had to be above the floor I was not sure if I could use it. I don't have a plug available. I used his method put a piece of string around the device. Put a few pieces of tape to hold the tape in place. I put a small nail in the wall and hung the device. I attached the usb to a plug and inserted it into an extension cord that runs along the floor. It works!!My only other issue is that in the box is a small piece of paper with Q & A. It does not tell you much of anything meaning what the colors mean, exactly where you should and should not use the device. I contacted Amazon Product however, all the agent did was repeat to me what was on the paper in the box. Finally, at my insistence she told me how to send the company a message. Which I did. They responded IMMEDIATELY I was impressed. They send me a link to the 8 page manual. This proved to be very helpful and answered all my questions. My advice I think this is a great product idea. HOWEVER, make sure you contact the company for the full 8 page manual.

The Basement Banshee
The waiting for results 2 to 3 weeks paid off because I noticed the mousey stench was no more the little critters deposits were longer visible. The 3 Basement Banshee are set at different intervals. I am Pleased and they are going to remain in place, Danke.

It's worth the price
It looks as advertised. The minute and second hands were a little bent, to the point the second hand couldn't pass the minute hand. Easily fixed.I don't know how durable it is because I just put it up, but it does seem delicate. Only time will tell if the time does properly tell but for the price, I would absolutely buy this again as well as recommend it. I love the fact that it's made by a small, American business.

ordered 2 and the problem is solved!
We moved into a house with our 4 dogs where the previous owner never used the yard or shed, so the chipmunks had somewhat had the run of the place. When they started chasing and catching them, I knew it was time to do something. Based on reviews, ordered 2 of these (one for back patio and one for the shed itself). Like other reviews, it took a couple of weeks to see a difference and a couple more to truly see results, but will say that it has definitely worked. There is no more murder in my backyard, and just a normal amount of occasional chipmunks.
