BRILLIANT
The BaleDoneen method was applied from 1999 to 10,000 people. Method supported by peer-reviewed studies to identify, stabilize, and reverse arterial disease. By combating arterial disease, the incidence of heart attacks, strokes, dementia, and other chronic diseases related to endothelial dysfunction is significantly reduced. The book provides many scientific works that greatly support this method, beyond the thousands of patients who, in the worst cardiovascular conditions and at risk of death, return to normal life for decades, reaching healthy and full longevity. This book is amazing; It's not often that one can discover such profound and momentous material in the biomedical field that it can change the trajectory of human health. The language and writing format allow it to be read by people without a medical degree, but also by doctors or health professionals, where in this case it would allow them to be trained to practice preventive medicine and save lives, regardless of the degree of vascular compromise and deterioration from the patients. Incredible book. Many thanks to the authors for their dedication and predisposition to help health directly and share their knowledge.

Results speak for themselves!
My first appt with the Bale/Doneen clinic was 20 years ago and I knew then they were on to something significant to improve the quality of peoples lives. I loved both books and have shared the findings with many friends and family. I applaud Brad and Amy and the entire staff for their efforts and research in CV disease. I think the stories in the book actually provide great examples of patients that have been able to turn their life around with the Bale/Doneen method. Lots of great information and helpful suggestions and also make a complex topic easy to understand. The results they have had speak for themselves! Thanks for all that you and your staff do at the clinic and for your vision in arteriology.

Valuable information everyone should know
Amy Doneen, DNP, is an amazingly bright and compassionate health care provider, and this second book of hers is well worth reading. Both my husband and I have been her patients for more than 17 years, so we know her well and have all the admiration in the world for the difference she is making in people's lives. We are very grateful to have her be a part of our health care team!

I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in improving their or a loved one’s cardiovascular health!! I most enjoyed the inclusion of real-life patients who’s lives have been forever changed by the use and practice of Dr. Doneen and Dr. Bale’s preventative approach to healthcare.

This could be life saving!
Cardio health and addressing insulin resistance are two very important healthcare concerns with the standard American diet. This book dives into the genetics and many of the latest studies in both of these areas. If you have concerns about your cardio health, this is a must read. It just may save your life.

Good information, but too much fluff
The book does contain a lot of good information, however, there is a lot of unneeded information and fluff in my opinion. The the first of two examples is that every chapter starts in 1 of 2 ways:1) Meet person X, they were a person that doctors couldn't figure out until they attended out clinic2) Meet person Y, they were a person who though they had nothing to worry about until they attended out clinicYou then go into about 1/2 the chapter explaining their issues and how their method and their clinic saved their lives and everything else was hopeless. The second example is that you will read CONSTANTLY something like "Which we'll explain in chapter 9", or "That you will read about in chapter 10." I kid you not, the first 5 - 6 chapters read like previews for the rest of the book.By the time you get to the end there IS actionable advice. It talks about useful genetic tests you can take, how to live an "optimal life style", drugs and supplements that are good and effective based on outcomes from the genetic tests. While I CAN still recommend the book, I think I could have likely skipped the first couple hundred pages and still gotten everything I needed out of this book.
