Awesome book highly recommend.

This is a super book full of practical advice for anyone considering a small holding. Sally shares really useful knowledge so freely and it’s clear she writes from a place of experience. It’s set out in a really clear and easy to follow way - I’ve read through most of it and intend to reread sections at a later date. It’s also full of lovely photos and engaging. Recommended!

This is a very well structured and detailed overview over what can be done homesteading wise on a very small piece of land. I am very happy as well that this book is in my climate region uk/wales/ireland, since we have to content with mild and wet weather nearly all year around. It also features extensive plant, tree and animal lists with their respective advantages and habits. Definitely worth reading.

Awesome little book of knowledge. If you have ever fancied doing the “good life” this is the book for you. It’s full of good little facts and info. It helps you to think about the space you have and how you can use it. For those budding back garden farmers, this is a must.

brilliant book if the title appeals to you Great section on composting, and layout. A bit to much for me on livestock but I dont intend having any on my acre. So probably about right If you are thinking about pigs and chickens. Good content quality overall and great pictures, so, good value for money.
