Can the pivot arm, that allows the saw to rotate up and down, be removed from the steel base so that the saw can be bolted to a different base?

The saw is held to the base by a bolt/pin at the pivot point of the 0-45 degree base and the tightening bolt for the angle set. The saw pivots up and down on this part. The entire pivot assembly is held to the table with one aprox, 3/8 slot head bolt/pin. Keep it and use in the same manor and you can move the saw assembly to whatever base you want.

What are the 3a batteries for? and i have never seen an a battery.

I think you may be referring to AAA Batteries there are no batteries of any kind in this saw!

What size replacement tires do I get for this saw?

The name Vevor is missing from the machine, did I get the real thing or a nockoff?

I checked mine and it's the same. No brand name on it. I don't know if that's normal but still works fine. You know what they say" pay extra for the name" and since this unit was considerably cheaper, you get what you pay for I guess. I typed the model number in Google search ,which is R2103 and you do get various brands, so I guess there's no real difference between the cheaper brands whether is vevor,anbull,bauer......
