Selle Italia Model X - 100% Sustainable Green Bike Saddle

Brought to replace existing seat as I was getting numbness on longer rough rides. No discomfort after changing to this saddle. Great value

Very suitable for a sports cycle. Very good looking saddle.

I have had this saddle for 2 months now, and had no problems with it. Comfortable, light, and just enough grip. I have arthritis in my spine and numbness in one leg, so cannot stand up for sprinting and climbing, so this saddle gives enough grip, but is comfy enough for long rides. Have heard that this saddle tends to creek after a few weeks, but I haven't had any problems with this. Although not a problem or criticism, this saddle is shorter than my previous saddles.

Even if you're not bothered about weight, it is noticeably heavy, but the value is hard to resist.Construction if typically good, as you would expect from Selle Italia.I returned my saddle as it didn't fit me particularly well, but don't read anything into that as fit is such a personal thing.I also wasn't 100% convinced on the colour (battleship grey), which depending on the colour of your bike could look a bit odd.

This is the 3rd saddle I have bought in the last year of trying to stop numbness whilst using my bike on the turbo trainer. So far this saddle has been perfect. The cutout, length and width are perfect for my shape. If you are looking for a highly padded saddle the this is not the one for you. The padding is minimal and the saddle material is non slip so there is no sliding or bouncing about when cycling. It's not the lightest saddle on the market but it's a great fit for me.

This is somewhat difficult to describe but I will try:There is a section on the outer side of the saddle, where the end of the fabric upper ends and the plastic begins.This effectively acts as a "lip" which the seam on the inside of my shorts catches on each and every time I move my leg up and down.This results in the lip and seam clicking constantly and slightly pinching the leg.Uncomfortable and annoying.I have tried 3 different bib shorts / bib tights and different saddle positions but it is still present.

OK so far, haven't got fully used to it yet but more comfy than my original Brompton saddle and much lighter.

Great look ....but..The upper front layer rubs against the thighs. Not very pleasant rubber saddle layer. Plastic part of the saddle not flexible.

as comfortable as the product was, It broke on me twice! I was able to replace it the first time because Amazon's return window was still open. I couldn't replace it anymore since the return window had already closed. I messaged Selle Italia to see if warranty covers it but, No reply as of yet. do not buy this saddle.

Nutze den Sattel auf meinem Zwift Ride. Der Sattel ist relativ hart aber trotzdem angenehm. Die Entlastung des Dammbereichs ist top.

Pour mes déplacement quotidien très bien. très antidérapant donc pas top pour les pantalons fragiles
