The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard Double Pack

Much to my surprise, I really liked; The Hitman's Bodyguard that my oldest son (24 years of age) said I should watch. So together with him, and my youngest son of 20 years of age, I settle down for what proved to be a 2 hour roller-coaster ride of excitement. Starring Ryan Reynolds, who I'm not overly keen on, I have to admit his is very good in his role of a has been body guard who due to circumstance becomes Samuel L. Jackson's, who by the way is excellent, bodyguard. Gary Oldman, Salma Hayek (Jackson's missus) and Richard E. Grant are all excellent in their supporting roles. I was really surprised have good this film was. -So it didn't take me long to require my own Blu-ray version of the film, with the sequel; Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard included. It's just as good as the first outing. Richard E. Grant is still part of the supporting cast but is now joined by Antonio Banderas and Morgan Freeman. The double disc comes loaded with extras, especially for the 1st film, but there are some good extras for the 2nd film as well. Normally it's me finding classic films for "the boys" to see, this time my oldest son got one up on me. I thank him.

Loved the pair of films, very funny

I watched the first on Prime so picked up the physical for the second, never mind Reynolds or Jackson, Salma Hayek is great.

Very interesting nicely presented film's worth watching

Lots of action with Salma playing a bigger nastier but very funnier role, taking the limelight away from Samuel L.Reynolds played his usual vacant look role but somehow ended up being more of a whimp than in the first film, something I didn't think was possible !!

Postage was really fast with prime and was packaged really well with no damage to the DVD itself.

A couple of really good films - excellent cast.

Goes in collection

It's exactly what I was looking for. However, I couldn't see an country code on it so I thought it might have been universal. I also assumed, apparently wrongly, that the company was in Canada or the US as I was on Amazon.ca! I was clearly wrong as the DVD set arrived from Ireland and is coded for region 2 (UK) and not region 1 (NA). So I can't use it in any player that I have. Sending it back seems like it'll cost roughly the same or more than it did to get it shipped to me. So, I have a UK copy that I can't watch of a set of movies I love. Anyone need it?

Spent my morning trying to get it to work 3 hours later still no movie

Doesn’t play (wrong region). Not clearly indicated when buying!!
