Leyland cypress is a hybrid of the disappearing Monterey cypress. These inexpensive trees came in perfect condition in excellent packaging. In our climate crisis we need to plant billions of trees to cool down our overheated planet. Trees provide us with oxygen, shade and beauty and they capture our carbon, prevent floods droughts. Trees are our friends, not our enemies. Plant them wherever you can.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
Maybe it's my fault for trusting Plants By Mail, but both of the Leyland Cypress shrubs I paid for were literally dead on arrival! Dry, brown foliage that no amount of water, fertilizer or replanting could save. I will never use these guys again, and I advise you not to waste your money, either.
