They are your standard great quality Lincoln electric gloves
I’m very satisfied with the protection I use these for stick the quality was good the thickness was solid but I did get burnt through the glove by melted steel but that’s normal the size could be abit smaller but they are easy to use

Going 10 years and will go many more
Bought these March 2015. Never burned a hole through them, still look in good shape despite the abuse and leaving them on a garage floor, and kicking around. I’ll update you in another 10 years. I guess you can’t beat Lincoln…

Shields the heat best in class
I'm a repeat customer. I've purchased and compared many brands. They are the best I've found for both high heat shielding and dexterity. I keep a set next to the woodstove for loading wood or grabbing the stray coal that falls out. They also come along for camping, and dealing with the fire situations there. Oh yeah, they work great for their intended purpose too, welding, plasma cutting, or other hot work. They have saved my hands from many burns. Recommended.

Great gloves, but...
These are really nice gloves but they're one-size-fits-all so my medium hands swim freely in the gloves. I'll use them for a while until I find some gloves that fit better.

Awesome gloves!
I know these are supposed to be welding gloves, but I actually got them for another purpose: pulling out blackberry vines and thistles. You probably expected a traditional review--the gloves are well made of nice leather, and protect past the wrist--but I'm here to tell you also that these gloves are apparently blessed by the gods and imbued with supernatural powers. You see, I have blackberry vines and thistles in my backyard, and these weeds are like the Spartan 300 of weeds. They've got thorns that penetrate ordinary garden gloves, and they have defied me for weeks by waving their leaves at me, poking me with thorns, and generally sounding like King Leonidas every time the wind blows. In fact, it's little known that one of the tasks Hercules failed at was pulling the blackberry vines and thistles out of my backyard. Look it up.So, I ordered these gloves, partly because the flames on them looked cool and partly because I read that welding gloves work pretty well on thorny adversaries.Let me tell you--as soon as I put these gloves on, I felt capable of taking on those weeds. I had expected to take a couple of hours just to plow through one section of thorny vines and thistles. I pulled those suckers out in 15 minutes. Oh, the vines tried to fight back, with their little pricks (heh heh) from their thorns and their reflexive attempts to penetrate my skin. These gloves were tougher though, and thanks to the longer protection, I slaughtered those weeds and made a pile of their dead green bodies. I'm pretty sure my maniacal laughter disturbed the neighbors, but I digress. In any case, these holy gloves did the job and I finished a section way, way quicker than I thought it would take. Though the gloves are a little big on me they would probably fit someone with "large" hands as opposed to my "medium" hands. There is some insulation/cushioning on the inside, but only from the palms to the fingers. I haven't been able find the inscription granting me the power of Greek or Roman gods, but I'm fairly certain, based on my weed experience, that there must be such an inscription with these gloves.I probably will have to take a welding class, just to be able to use these gloves for their intended use, but if you have the same challenge I did--thorny weeds defying your gardening authority--they will work great and are far better than normal gardening gloves.
