Wanted a bento style box that was easy to open for our preschooler. Originally purchased bentgo brand, but it was too heavy and had no handle. This box is nearly perfect, as it is sturdy, has pretty colors, deep compartments to hold lots, easy to clean, lightweight for my kiddo, and it has a handle. Finding an ice pack to fit this box would be the only challenge. We resolved that issue by purchasing the mibasies book bag -a small, easy to manage book bag that works double duty with a built in, insulated compartment for lunch. This box fits perfectly in that compartment , stays cold until lunch.

I bought this for my kid who left pre k that heats up food and serves them to the wild west if kindergarten with no way to reheat foods. I wanted to recreate healthier "lunchables" and so this is perfect.I debated cheaper plastic options. This was around 17 bucks when I bought but its held up for months. I love that it has a larger side for pouches and I can even fit a tube yogurt. The silicone flap side seals nicely but do remember to remove it completely when washing the box out as if you don't it can stay wet and grow mold between the silicone insert and the plastic box. It is easy to remove and reseal. I also can fit smaller snack containers inside the smaller compartment, for example a few teddy crackers, or some marshmallows as a treat. This ensures they stay fresh and dry.I have bit put loose applesauce or super drippy things in the small compartments, so I do not know if those would leak. However the jelly from the sandwich squares, or the crumbs from crackers, DO stay in their own compartment.It also fits most kids lunch boxes and shows no sign of wear. Very pleased with this purchase. My kid picked the color combo and I loved all the options.

I bought two of these for my kids (ages 6 and 8) to replace their old Bentgo boxes. They needed something that was a little bigger, and I like the quality and affordability of this brand based on some other b.box products I have. I’m very satisfied! These lunchboxes are compact but hold a lot of food since they’re thicker than other brands. Love that 2 compartments are completely leakproof for the wetter items, and love that it’s easy to clean. Holds enough food for my 8 year old son and then some.

Great lunchbox with nice portion size for kids/toddlers and has an easy open latch. It’s hand wash only but really easy to clean. I knocked it down one star because it’s a bit heavy and pretty bulky once packed in a little kids backpack. That said, it feels durable. I hope to use it for several years.

Love seeing this well-loved Aussie brand in the US. Don’t think twice about getting something that’s high quality, perfect size for little hands and won’t get confused with the sea of ugly Bentigo lunch boxes out there

This has been my favorite lunch box for younger kids. I have tried 3-4 other brands and this has been the best one. It’s the perfect size for Preschool-3rd grade age. I love that it is easy for younger kids to open and close, the lid is attached so it won’t get lost at school, it is leak proof and is made of thick durable material.

It's almost the end of the school year and I felt it time to review this bento box since it got HEAVY use throughout the year. I'm happy to say it still looks new. My daughter uses both this bento and the kids Bentgo box and this one quickly became my favorite. The reasons: it holds a lot more food than the Bentgo because it has deeper compartments. The sandwiches don't get smushed. It's MUCH easier to clean. I'm not sure if many users know this, but the silicone material can be removed and washed (and is so easy to put back in place), so there is zero chance of any hidden spots for mold to develop. Speaking of washing, I hand wash this and it dries a lot faster than the Bentgo, since all the parts are removable. Finally, nothing at all has leaked. Everything stays in its own compartment. We use the smaller snack box for things like cottage cheese and fruit and even after heavy use, there is no leakage. This brand is quickly becoming one of our favorites. We'll probably buy another one of these and an additional snack box.

I’ve used this lunch box for two month, liked everything about it: size, weight, removable divider, and the fact the lid and seal can be easily taken apart to clean.However, I dropped it from counter height and it just broke. The material didn’t feel like brittle, but it IS!Now I am reconsidering Omie box for my toddler.

I really like these lunch boxes , they're roomy without being too big . I know it says snack box but I can fit almost a whole lunch in the box. It's sturdy and really easy to clean..I've used alot of lunch boxes and I really enjoy this one

The box is sturdy on one hand, but also easy to take apart for the dishwasher.I experienced no spills and the lock weeks well.One thing I don't like, if you don't take apart the silicone flap before it goes into the washer, it will fill with water.
