Because it fits well, the area under the chin is not loose, but comfortable. I will be using this for long flights soon, if Amazon will let me submit another rating, I will. Also, I wear glasses. I would strongly recommend this facemask! Very comfortable to wear and doesn't make you feel you're soffocating! Also my breath goes through the mask and doesn't come up to my eyes which is perfect to wear.all.day long in the office!TIP: let it take some air or wash it before wearing it the first time as the brand new odor can be bad.
