Ich verwende das Ding mit einem Rasperry Pi 5 als Faxserver mit Hylafax. Unter dem Standard Raspberry Pi OS braucht es keinen separaten Treiber, einfach anstecken und ein /dev/ttyACM... wird angelegt. Minicom erkennt das Modem sofort, der AT-Befehlssatz funktioniert tadellos. D.h. es handelt sich nicht um ein abgespecktes "Software-Modem", mit dem man unter Linux seine liebe Not hätte, sondern um ein Hardware-Modem mit Conexant CX93010-21Z Chipsatz. Die beiden Kontroll-LEDs bleiben so lange schwarz, bis das Modem tatsächlich eine aktive Übertragung hat (auch ohne Licht ist es nicht tot). Lautsprecher hat es keinen, man muss also auf das Gekreische des Faxsignals verzichten. In Summe ein gutes Hardware-Modem für Legacy-Anwendungen.

Came on time. Excellent bran. Worked fine and easy with Fax talk Software. It is Plug and Play. You do not need to install its driver from the CD which came with it

Je l'utilise pour connecter ma Dreamcast via Dreampi et il fonctionne impeccable.

The price maybe high but you also get a robust customer service. You can use this to work on a dreampi set up straight out of the box without needing to update to the latest firmware, watch out for a sticker with rev 2, and you're good to go. Despite having the modem and raspberry pi, you still need a line voltage inducer. To get your dreamcast online.
