Dixon BM8 Brass Hose Fitting, Mender, 1" Hose ID Barbed

I purchased this barbed coupling to put two 3/4 fuel caddy hoses together. It worked out great. Happy with my purchase.

Not much to say about this it's a 3/8 hose barb.....It came, it's 3/8, and it's a hose barb......made from the finest bronze, mined from the foothills of the Greek island of cosmos. The hose barbs were formed on the ab muscle's of beautiful 16 y/o virgins. I would have gladly paid 10 times as much for these but they didn't ask. If you need to hook up two pieces of 3/8 ID hose look no further.

Not much to say. It is a nicely finished coupler that is just the right size for joining flexible 1/2" tubing. It was exactly what I neededto extend a condensate drain line.

They were very well built and the exact size they were supposed to be. I dropped a large piece of plate steel on my torch hose as I was cutting said steel and inadvertently cut the hose directly in half in a brilliant show of flare and light and just a little bit of a splotion! After expediently turning off the torch bottle and running out to check on the chickens in the coop on the other side of the place just to see if they were ok, I ordered these lovely fittings to return my hoses to one piece. No splotions since then.

I ordered Dixon 3/4" barbs from seller Amazon.com. I chose this particular barb because unlike other products the listing included its dimension specifications in a picture. I needed to know exactly what size thru hole I was getting for maximum flow. (I am sending a mixture of pressurized air and water through a flexible line.) The barb ID was specified as 3/4" but the ones I received are actually 5/8". All the other dimensions are smaller as well. Below are the dimensions they list on Amazon and the actual dimensions I measured with a caliper, which as it turns out matches the updated dimensions on their website. I needed to extend my portable dishwasher hoses. A couple of these and my ingenious did the trick without having to ask the idiots at the store where these things are.

It is what it is it, nicely machined and if it's what you need then it's great
