This shampoo in combination with the conditioner is the only product that has kept my seborrheic dermatitis at bay.

Purchased this because it said silicone free, but product contains dimethicone. Please fix the description, I cannot use this product and would like a refund.

Helped reduce itchy, dry scalp well. Bottle isn't tiny as some have described, its just smaller than the traditional big bottles of shampoo you are used to buying; which isn't all that unusual really for a specialty product. Scent is improved over the days of old using smelly dandruff shampoos. I condition afterwards and did not find it drying.

I feel it lightweight and easy to spread, all while working nicely. I’m def buying again.

I have been using the Head & Shoulders Scalp X Anti Dandruff Shampo for the past few weeks. As far as I know, these series are the first series of H&D products focused on hair loss and strengthening hair follicles. The main ingredient of the shampoo is Pyrithione Zinc which is infused with Vitamin E. These are the only effective ingredients mentioned on the bottle and it seems that we can see much more effective and advantageous compounds on other anti-hair loss shampoos in the market.The shampoo does a good job in cleaning hair and scalp and leaving hairs moisturized. It lathers very well and can be washed completely with warm water with no residue. It is still a bit soon for me to comment on the hair loss rate after using this shampoo, but I feel my hairs get some extra volume and seem a bit thicker after a few weeks. If the new Scalp X shampoo works well for hair loss prevention, it can become a popular product from H&D considering its decent price for an anti-hair loss shampoo!P.S.:I will try to update my review once I noticed more effects during the time.

I'm in my mid 50s with the usual age-related hair issues. I've noticed some thinning and breakage along with a dry, flakey scalp. I had regularly used traditional Head and Shoulders dandruff shampoo before switching brands several years ago. When I was given the opportunity to sample this product, which promises to combat flakes as well as breakage, I knew I had to give it a try. I've been using this shampoo for several weeks now and so far I'm pleased with the results. My scalp feels healthier and I haven't noticed as much hair in my hairbrush. This product dispenses as a foam from a pump. A few pumps are all I need for my medium length hair. I'm still using my first bottle and will definitely repurchase if I continue to see good results.

I have been using regular Head N Shoulders dandruff shampoo for years. This is a much better alternative if you want something that takes care of dandruff in half the time! This keeps my scalp from flaking, and it really is nice that it comes out as like a foam/mousse. It also smells pretty good so that's an added bonus. I will say it is a little pricey, but it is well worth it!
