I gave as a gift so I don't know the child's reaction but I was very pleased with the sturdiness of the model 'wood'. It looked like they might need help or a knife to carefully cut out the parts so they didn't break.

One product in the package had been opened and the box was not in the best shape. Product being returned. Still deciding if I will keep one of the other items. Not exactly what I expected.
