Great product to have Dish TV in the RV

I already have one Wally, which used to be called 211 receivers. So I bought this one so I could had two TVs. First thing I learned is that they take different dish LNBs than does the Hopper system. Took me two hours on the phone before I could get a tech sent out to change the dish on my roof for one that was compatible with the Wally. I finally had to change my Dish account address. I should mention that I use the Wally at my summer home and on my motorhome, to keep from having to move the Hopper 3 and two Joeys back and forth from my winter home. Dish calls this a 'Snowbird account." You can turn them on and off on a monthly basis (by whole months) so you only pay for them when you are using them. Now, for the bad news: I am still trying to get it activated. The tech support people who sent out the tech told me he could activate it, add it to my account. He declined, and told me to call the number that came with it. That is for the Outdoor Department, a contractor that sells and activates Dish RV equipment. They declined, because I had already bought it from Amazon. Their phone tree told me to go instead to the MyDish App, which I did. It showed me what equipment I already had on the account but didn't let me add new equipment. Dish Customer Service and their Tech Support (at different times) both told me I needed to go to Advanced Tech Support to get this Wally activated. Trick is that you can't call them direct. You wait for Customer Service or tech support for 15 minutes to a half hour THEN you get to wait another half hour for Advanced Tech Support. After a week of trying I still haven't gotten thru to them. The tech support rating above is for Dish. Not Pace International. I have no idea how to reach them.

What an amazing deal. I bought three of these after OrbyTV went belly up. I love the DVR and the flexibility of the Dish for RV Flex Plan. I am using the Dish Dual OTA adapter with each one and it is a dream.

Had to return this Wally to Dish as it was defective. Dish replaced it with no problem. The seller had no part with tech support which was all Dish network and awesome and easy to work with.
