Works really well.
I like that it is 400 strength. I can take one each morning and each evening, instead of one stronger pill per day. I feel it does a better job for my needs.

Works fine but probably not Gluten free
Product worked fine for thinning mucus when I was congested. However, I did have the same reaction that I usually get from small amounts of wheat/gluten, so I suspect one of the inactive ingredients is probably made with wheat starch. It doesn’t claim to be gluten free, so please do not consider this a negative review. I knew it was a risk when I ordered it. I just thought others might like to know.

It works. It's a generic Mucinex. It's not the time release version.
This mucus relief stuff - the same ingredients as Mucinex - works. It's less expensive than the name brand. NOTE: this is NOT the extended release formula. It's a more immediate formula. Don't confuse the two. I'm not sure how many stars to give it - it works. It's less expensive than the name brand. What else would you want?

Lifesaver for Fibromyalgia
I live on this stuff for my fibromyalgia. This guaifenesin is immediate release, so there are no issues in trying to metabolize other compounds before the guaifenesin can be utilized. The caplets are small and easy to swallow. They also have none of the ridiculous dye of some brands (you could dye an Easter egg with the blue dye in some brands). I find this brand to be my favorite formulation of the many I have tried. Interestingly, sometimes you can get bottles of 300, and sometimes only of 200 caplets; it's a bit puzzling, but it works either way.
