Dorman 090-038CD Oil Drain Plug Standard M12-1.25, Head Size 14mm for Select Models

If you have a 2.8 Fiero and your cold start injector is leaking get this bolt.Can't find a replacement or anyone to rebuild your only option is to delete.The factory injector line bolt setup comes right out with a socket.The thread is a 12x1.75, which is this oil drain bolt.No cutting down the bolt or anything of that.The only thing I did was swap the washer that came with this bolt with the one on the Fiero as that one was slightly larger and was metal not the hard plastic on this one.Posted a picture of it installed and the washers I am talking about.Since this is a drain plug bolt I am hoping it last a long time.

Really like the brass drain plug. Less chance of cross-threading and the brass coating means the plug threads will damage before the oil pan drain threads. The gasket however required re-torquing after a week. First day -no leak. After a week I noticed oil dripping from the plug. When I retorqued it the drain plug was at much lower torque (loose) then when it was installed. Ergo, the washer crushed from heat-expansion loosening the seal. I retorqued it and so far so good a week later. Something to keep in mind.

I like to have a spare drain plug in my kit, to replace old plugs that maybe should not be reused... I had to use one a while back. This one is to replenish my spares kit.

Stick to a aluminum washer if your car uses that torqued to spec.
