A real lifesaver
Captain Cat just had emergency surgery for FLUTD. He was miserable in all the e-collars. He was spending all his energy busting out of them like a furry Houdini or begging us to take them off. He's supposed to wear the collar for 3 weeks, but we didn't think we could get through 3 days. He wasn't eating or drinking. But we tried this one. And it's been a complete turn around. He can eat and drink more easily. It's much more comfortable for him. He's still a cat and therefore not a fan, but he's not spending all his time fighting it. And, most importantly, he can't reach his stitches. The collar edge did get a little messy after a particular bathroom visit, but it wipes off easily with soap/water.One thing to note. The little toggle that comes with the string isn't particularly secure. I have to pull the cord fairly tight, set the toggle, then tie it off in order to keep the collar on securely. If the cord is loose he can just bunny kick and pop the whole thing off. I recommend monitoring your pet for the first 24 hours so you can make sure you know how tightly to set it where your pet is comfortable but not able to escape. We bought a medium size. Our cat is a pretty large 15 pound male who is very strong.

Comfort, and functionality.
My name is Pumpkin. I went blind and had to have eye surgery. My mama got this for me to help me be more comfortable and mobile since I can't see ever again. It has really helped me to be more comfortable in my healing. You can't tell but I'm smiling in my picture. Thank you to this company for my new catwear. I will wear it proudly. 💕 This is a size medium, and I weigh about 11 pounds.

Perfect alternative to a cone/E-collar for cat neuter
I ordered the medium pink flower in preparation for my 10 month old kitty's neuter. He is nearly 12 pounds for reference. The fit was fine, the collar can be adjusted but it's also elastic so it can be tightened without choking your pet. So far it's done a great job at stopping him from licking his neuter incision sites. At first I thought it would be too small but it blocks it perfectly, he can only get to lick his tail (see photo of him attempting). For a female cat this would be more than enough, but if your cat is extra long it might not be. He has slept well in it, definitely more comfortable than if he was wearing a plastic cone. He's gotten it off once but I just put it back on and retighten, and he's not constantly trying to remove the flower either since it doesn't obstruct his vision. I would totally recommend to have this for cat neuters/spays.

It Works
The media could not be loaded. This pillow-like alternative to the e-collar works very well. Our kitty is about 11 pounds. The closure mechanism is on a thick string, and then a cinch. To keep it in place, simply cinch it to the right diameter, then tie a knot in the string. It will not come off, and it keeps them from licking anything other than the end of the tail. Our kitty has had some open wounds from a skin condition. We used this as an alternative to the e-collar and it worked very well! She wore it for about 4 weeks. We may still need to put it back on her but she is getting a break now. I put a recent picture with her skin healed, and an earlier video of her trying to lick. She can eat and use the litter box with this product. Life-saver!

After trying several options, this is the best one
My cat has allergies and anxiety, so he overgrooms at times. He recently began overgrooming more than usual so we went to the vet. They recommended an e collar. My cat overgrooms inside his hind legs, his lower belly, and sometimes on his front arms. His hind legs are the problem area. I ordered two e collars, the orange slice and the bread one (they come up on Amazon). They allowed him to lick and overgroom his problem areas. I ordered a backup comfy cone, but I wanted him to be able to eat and drink comfortably. Hence when I purchased this. He’s unable to overgroom at all! It isn’t his favorite thing, but he is behaving normally with it on. He can eat, drink, and use the litter box like normal. He’s also able to go under the couch with it on. I wish I ordered this before I ordered the others. Will be purchasing another!

Good for cats who overgroom their tummies and back legs
The media could not be loaded. I don't write reviews a lot but it's been really hard to find a collar or cone for my cat to keep her from stress grooming on her stomach and back legs. I tried a couple collars before this and they either were ripped apart quickly or were not wide enough to keep her from reaching her lower half.I've had this one for a couple weeks and it's holding up pretty well, dries quickly when wet, and my cat seems much more comfortable than in any of the other collars or cones. She can reach her feet but for the most part her legs and belly are protected. My only complaint is that it does loosen over time so you'll need to readjust it every now and then.

Works for my fussy over-groomer!
I tried 3 different recovery suits to stop my kitty from over-grooming but she absolutely hated it and would manage to get out of every one despite the size/make. This neck pillow has been the first thing I've tried that is actually working so I am thrilled. She has been sleeping most of the day as usual except this time she's got a nice pillow for her head :')P.S. in case anyone is concerned about my kitty, she's been to the vet about the over-grooming and she's fine :).

Worked on my cat who is pretty long
The media could not be loaded. My cat Ginger is pretty long so I was scared that regular cone wouldn’t work for her but this one was perfect and wasn’t too in the way for her. She was able to jump (watch the video) and bother the other cats in the house and eat as usual. The only thing is you need an open liter box because it’s not gonna fit w this on. It was also super easy to clean and adjust to the neck. She used it as a pillow to sleep.
