I talk all day and these are paramount to my vocal stamina!
I talk all day for work, and these really do clarify my voice and soothe my throat. Plus I love the flavor of anise/black licorice . My mum shared these with me decades ago when she was in England and I’m so glad I stumbled upon them here. I keep an extra tin in the car and they don’t melt in the summer heat.

Not even close to SEN SEN. Light licorice flavor
I am old enough to remember SEN SEN, sold actually to cover up bad oral smells...from smoking, drinking, poor oral care.I also remember the 'lil bitty paper package having a unique odor...licorice, maybe violet or clove, plus....NIPITS are small. Come in a nice tin case.Have an impossible little flap system to release them piece by piece,Have NO resemblance to SEN SEN smell or flavor. Licorice flavor is not intense at all. THREW AWAY on second day.

Disappointing
I was so hoping these licorice Nipits were going to come close to an old time favorite from my childhood - Sen Sens. Unfortunately they were no where near Sen Sens…..actually they were kind of gross and pretty much a disappointment.

Good for sore throat
I like the candy too. It can’t get too hot or will all melt together. Better than most cough drops.

Different from olde days
I like the strong licorice taste, but they dissolve quickly. I remember them being square chips and VERY dense. The case is great so only a few come out, and it won't open by accident in your pocket or purse. Good value, lots of small bits to refresh breath or cover over that nasty metallic taste from chemo!

Nasty taste! Gave me "pickle-face!"
I had high hopes for this product for helping my elderly mother with clearing her throat, as it says right on the box that it does. It did not seem to help any with clearing her throat, but then I don't know if she finished the little pellet. I tried one myself and it was really nasty tasting to me. I couldn't finish it and they're only tiny little pellets to begin with. I took the tin with me when I went out with friends and several of them tried it. Most didn't care for it, yet two of the ladies said they rather liked it. So it seems we all taste things differently and this may appeal to some, but probably not to most.
