So I originally bought this for a certain price, but then the price dropped even further so I contacted customer service to see if they would price match the newer lower price. They do not. Only certain items. I believe the rep said certain appliances. So the rep said I could order it again for the newer lower price and return the other one. Which seemed to me to be very inefficient. It just makes more sense to refund the price difference to the customer rather than ordering it a second time, using more unnecessary labor from Amazon and the delivery people, gas, and time, then the same when returning an item. When all you have to do is return the price difference to the customer on the computer. One simple step version shipping the same item twice, and having the customer return the 1st one. Waste of resources and time. I'm sure I'm not the only one that has come across this. In the old days, retailers price matched, no questions asked. They just did it on the computers and refunded the difference either cash or back to the credit card you used. Amazon has all the payment records. It should be easy for them to do that, a multi billion dollar company, and they can't price match products sold from their website. Either way, I'm happy with my purchase itself. The product works like it's supposed to. I had to figure out an alternative way to image my entire drive on my older SSD to transfer all my data and OS to the new SSD. The one that I could get through crucial has a flaw. You have to have the SSD installed first before you can image what is on your current hard drive. Since I am replacing rather than added an SSD, I had to look for alternative imaging software to image my drive first. Then stall the new CRUCIAL ssd, and then copy the image to it. I also had to figure out how to merge the unallocated space on the new drive into the same drive C: I've now since figured it out and I'm happy with it.

I decided to upgrade my Asus Tuf A17 Gaming 2022 laptop, purchased from here at a fantastic savings that more than paid for these recent upgrades. Crucial memory configurator makes it relatively simple to find compatible components for most any system you can think of. Plug in the correct system information and pick from a list of available, compatible components. Amazon had a great discounted price and Expedited Prime member delivery. I paired this purchase with a 32GB (2x16GB) Crucial DDR5 upgrade kit and both were on my doorstep in record time. As an afterthought, I also purchased thermal solutions for both. So far, the patient is recovering nicely and running a cool 42C-45C in BIOS mode, pre-OS install. I won't bore you with benchmarks that have already been fairly comprehensively provided by several others. I would definitely recommend others seeking to upgrade their storage, either primary OS boot drive or additional storage. High Speed, Game Grade, Gen4 SDD at a great price.

Purchased to expand the storage in my PlayStation and it has done just that. It works so well that I have practically forgotten that it is in there and that speaks to its quality. It was easy to install and needs no addition though beyond the initial installation.

As the title says, the drive runs very hot. It idles in the 60s C and gets up to 70+ C and starts to thermal throttle when under a heavy load such as a game install. Regardless though, even when throttled slightly, the P5 is still faster than my old gen 3 nvme ssd. It would be nice if it was better optimized or had a heat spreader, but it is still a great product and more than fast enough for most people's needs. The included limited license for the Acronis backup and management software was also a nice plus. It made moving all my files and OS to the new crucial drive simple and fast, and I didn't have to mess with a shady free program or window's antiquated imaging tools. Do note that this is a limited license though and will not work with other drives, it is limited to only move files to or from the Crucial SSD.

Då jag inte har den i min desktop så kan jag inte göra några mätningar gällande värmeutveckling, men har som sagt inte märkt några nedsidor så här långt. Prisvärd lagring helt enkelt för att kunna utöka spelbiblioteket :)
