what's the internal depth inside the L-Boxx 3 between the floor of the case and the top? I have a circular saw I want to store on its side.

A hair over 8", with almost 1/2" more towards the back of the case. The inner part of the lid is not flat, as the top handle recess protrudes into the case. So, 8" no problem, maybe up to 8-1/2" if you angle and position your circular saw to avoid hitting the handle recess.

Will fit a bosch fived base router ?
