This is a very competent piece of kit. Bought to supplement a powerful corded vacuum cleaner it is our cleaner of choice, being adequately powerful for our needs. Long battery life and pretty easy to use in all its configurations. The downside is it is slightly heavier than is ideal.

I love this cleaner from the Ninja makers. Bought it to replace an aging underperforming other notable brand. Much better value. Cleaning performance is superb, charges quickly, folds down out of the way when not in use and the blades in the motorised head do an excellent job. We don't have a hair problem so can't really comment on that but it is obviously a bonus. Controls are easy to use, switches suction power and surfaces very easily and emptying is a doddle. Perhaps the real bonus is that it is half the price of the other market leader but doesn't skimp on performance. It is a little heavier at the handle end due to the size and weight of the battery but that's easy to get used to. Highly recommended, I enjoy vacuuming now!!!

Generally easy to use.Accessories are good quality and simple to attach.One hinge broke after 3 months however they replaced it with minimal fuss.Quite heavy but not really a problem as it's mostly used upright.Only big issue I have is the area above the 'fins' cannot be accessed by removing a panel and it gets very dirty.All other areas can be cleaned relatively easily.

The media could not be loaded. I received it today and I couldn't resist: I had to try it. I wanted to see it in action on my old carpet, so even ifIt came with only 10-15% of battery charged, I turned it on. I didn't expect so much power from this small hoover, it is not too noisy and the suction power is unbelievable. During the time I did the video it filled up the dust container, this means in 3m² it has hoovered all the dust and took away all the dirt I couldn't even see.I am impressed, my old hoover wouldn't do the same. I have also got a dog and this is also good for the pets hair.You won't be disappointed, especially if you're looking for a hoover with an amazing suction power.Also what makes things easier it's the light into the hoover... Surprised!Slightly amended review: The only downside is the battery: it doesn't even last 20 minutes on basic mode:( whilst it says it should last 60 Min.

Let me clear this up I've used sharks corded vacks for over 10 years. So first and foremost please believe this review and ignore all negative reviews if someone gives a negative it's probably because of the fairly high price but you get what you pay for. And this vac is top notch. Let's start first the vac is lightweight compared to most. Second it fold in half for nice and neat storage. 3 the suction is next to none compared to most. Let's look at some of the negative when in use the vac won't stand up right on it's own you will have to fold it. The battery is rather large and takes 4 Hours to charge it seems to much for 60 minutes of use but it will do a full house and the car on one charge best to have two batteries. Overall good quality build I'm very happy and I'll never miss a cord again injoy.

This is my first shark stick cleaner and I wish I had bought one sooner. So impressed with the dirt it picked up and no more cutting entwined hair away from the rollers, it’s also a lot quieter than my last hoover. Will never bother with a corded cleaner again. A good price but did not upgrade to car accessories as the difference in price was too big and the extra attachments supplied as standard would do the same job. However the car accessories can be bought separately for just £20, much cheaper. This is easy to empty and glides from a carpet to hard floor with ease. As it folds it takes less room to store. Would recommend.

I purchased a Shark Cordless to replace my old Dyson upright because my daughter really likes her cordless Shark but have had a mixed experience.Firstly lets address the elephant in the room, if you are going to compare the power of this to a normal hoover then you will be disappointed. You do not buy a cordless if you need strong suction, it is just not possible in a package powered by a rechargable battery, even Dysons cordless vacuums are a long way off the suction of a normal corded hoover as you would expect and they are generally considered a market leader in this sector. You buy a cordless for the accessabilty and handiness of not having to plug it in around the house as well as the ease in tackling tight and awkward spaces.Generally, you have to alter you hoovering routine to covering areas of the house spread out over longer time periods when using cordless vacuums and that is normal for cordless appliances.This hoover was good and did everything I wanted. All the attachments I needed, various modes for different suction power and surfaces, and some neat features like the wand that folds to a number of shapes to fit under furniture and for storage. The hoover feels solid and well made with a reasonable dust capacity (Another aspect you have to sacrifice for a cordless). I was easily able to clean my entire, quite large house, on a single charge.SADLY, a single charge was all I got. The battery failed to charge ever again. After contacting Sharks customer support multiple times (The first person I spoke to had such a strong indian accent they were unintelligable and after registering my product A LETTER AT A TIME with multiple repeats I was really dispairing for any chance to sort out my ailing hoover) I was promised a new battery and charger. I was then sent a new battery in a very short amount of time (Quite impressive turn around really) and it ALSO will not charge which means either my charger (Which they didn't replace) or my hoover is broken. So, I'm stuck with trying to sort this problem out (Hopefully not a part at a time) and in the mean time I'm back to using my good old corded Dyson. Such a shame considering I had high expectations for this hoover.
