Don't Feel like Rubber Flashlights
I bought these because I was looking for a RUBBER flashlight for some planned plumbing work. Unfortunately, the casings for these flashlights apparently made of hard plastic--not soft rubber. Or if they are rubber, it's a hard solid rubber that feels like plastic. Not sending them back because I can always use extra flashlights around the house, but disappointed they weren't as I'd hoped.

better than mini-mag
I pray to these! I don't like flashlights that require two hands! plus, they have improved and reinforced the plastic on these. one side of the cylinder used to break off, now one side solid. I used to use mini-mag lites until I became annoyed with their poor internal connections, -had to smack the mini mag to get it to light. this became tiresome in a critical situation (electrical work) these work well with rechargeables, too!

Hard plastic
Not rubbery at all. Hard plastic. Light works fine, but I wanted soft rubber for my two boys to play with.

The spring in that connects the battery to the bulbs ...
The spring in that connects the battery to the bulbs moves (and stops the flow of light) if used frequently during high activity.
