Raleigh/Diamondback/Univega Derailleur Hanger- 2 (Black)

it fit my Raleigh Detour 4.5 Bike - 2009 bicycle. these derailleur hangers arent meant to be too rigid. they are designed to break through extremes to avoid breaking the frame. the original on my bike had twisted and snapped. they appear to be the same design. ill see how this will last. :)

This derailer hanger arrived as described and as photographed. It fit my Raleigh venture 3.0 and appears to have fixed the problem I had with the derailer. It included the fasteners. Price was my only issue.

Had an accident with a racoon while out riding my ebike. Racoon was fine, but ebike was not. It destroyed the rear derailleur, and bent the hanger. This hanger was super hard to find, and most places wanted alot of money for it including the bike manufacturer. good price, and was exactly the same as one that came with the ebike. Still using it til this day. another great thing is that it comes with two! so I have a spare incase another racoon has an issue.

Product was perfect match for my bike and included new hardware. It was the same thickness as the original hanger and I had no problems attaching it to my bike or attaching the derailleur to the hanger.

This was a direct fit for my son's bike and got him back on the road quickly and at 1/3 of the price of ordering directly from the manufacturer.

First, this fits my 2015 Raleigh Willard 2 perfectly, but it sheared off just minutes after installation, while I was adjusting the cable tension on the derailleur. The aluminum seems to be of very poor quality, with large grain size in the break. If mine broke in the bike stand under minimum loading, I'd be worried yours might fail on a hill climb. When mine failed it chewed up the plastic jockey and idler pulleys, but if it failed under load, your chain could seriously damage spokes, warranting a wheel rebuild. A good lesson in not buying cheap. I though I could save $12 by purchasing this hanger, rather than one made by wheels manufacturing, but now i'll have to spend more than that on a new hanger, and jockey and idler pulley wheels.

This derailleur hanger is waaay overpriced. I snapped a hanger on a Raleigh Talus by trying to bend it back into alignment. It is a generic fit for other bicycles and fit perfectly on the Talus. Nothing remarkable about this.
