Can they be worn next to your skin? I only wear untucked t-shirts with CCW and when it's hot I don't want to wear an undershirt under a t-shirt

I wear them under shirts directly on my skin and mostly forget they are there. That's good. The ones with just two clip points (side suspenders) are really good too.

My belt is 1-3/8" wide and the rear clip doesn't stay hooked. A safety pin attached to the pants works. Do you have any other suggestions?

My belt is 1.5" wide and fits just fine. How thick is the belt, is it thicker than the space in the hook?My belt fits fine as it is not too thick to fit, however, I can see if the belt was thick (like my saddle leather one) it would not fit.

Will,they hook onto a thick 1.75 inch belt?

I'm sure your belt is 1.75 inches wide not thick and yes it will work fine.
