Bought this to make a pair of boot water resistant for a two week trip to Ireland. Two light coats worked great. Did not discolor my boots. Do not recommend spraying heavy or thick application as light spray works fine. Boots could still breathe so my feet stayed. Ice and dry without sweating. I sprayed on a light coat and let dry about an hour in a ventilated area. Sprayed a second light coat and let dry. Good product and recommend.

Very good for use and not strong smell. 5 stars

My wife had the same pair of shoes but didnt want to apply this stuff because its toxic and smelled toxic when applying. But I knew that going in so im not knocking the score. I applied 2 or 3 coats (dont remember) and after it dried there was no odor and the boots where not affected. My socks were only a little damp from the space between the tongue and the boots, and Im assuming some sweat. I was very happy i used it. My wifes feet got pretty wet.

Great on my walking boots for the first couple of times but needs to be re-done regularly
