Dritz Chalk Cartridge Set, Assorted Chalk

This Chalk set is great. I'm glad I decided to order it. There were several reviews that showed and talked about the chalk cartridges were cracked up on arrival. I am happy to report that I did not have that experience even with it being shipped via USPS in a Brown Envelope Mailer. Absolutely amazing IMO. There were a couple of small cracks in the clear cover that holds the extra cartridges but they do not effect the lid staying in place. The chalk is easy to change out colors and doesn't require much pressure to get it to show on fabrics. Also the marks do erase well mostly. There is barely any chalk mark noticable, which would probably disappear after a wash. So IMO this purchase was beneficial and provides exactly the assistance I was hoping for.

I am very happy with this purchase. Yes, the chalk is fragile, but let just enough chalk out to draw a line and it works great. My only complaint is you have to buy another package when you run out of chalk. They need to sell one with just the chalk refill for at least half the price.

Best quilting tool ever. Marks great and disappears quite easily with a fabric eraser. The fact that it comes with a sharpener is amazing. In fact it’s so perfect and works so well for me. I bought another.

Nice product. So far, I have only used the white chalk pencil & it is easy to see on my fabric, and it does stay on even with some friction - did not need to re-mark things after a few necessary picks & "do-overs". Easy to use as it works as a pencil rather than a wheel or block. I have not used many marking tools, so I am reserving that 5th star for after I evaluate the other options out there; and for after I use other colors - to see if they mark just as easily as the white. This has an eraser - it is okay, does not remove the chalk entirely - mainly just spreads it around & dilutes the markings - but effective enough for me to know to ignore the mis-marking. I think it will need to be washed in the machine to totally remove all the chalk lines and dots.

This is an essential tool for any home sewist. The many colors of chalk are very versatile and they make easy thin erasable lines for sewing and quilting. It is easy to change the colors and the pen is easy to grip. The lines disappear when you iron on it so this is very useful.

I would definitely buy this over and over again. The thickness is perfect. The pen functions great with great accuracy. I believe it is very durable.

Works great for marking material. I like the fact that you can change colors easily. I'm very impressed.

This chalk was great for 3 months, and then I pulled it out to use today and one of the pieces that push chalk forward, is now broken. Disappointed because this was a more expensive option from tailors chalk.

I love this marker. It is exactly what I needed to mark fabric for quilting. It can be wiped off easily even on dark fabrics. The holder keeps your hands clean and it can be used along with quilting rulers etc. The nice thin point can be sharpened & made longer if desired. Read some reviews and this one was highly recommended for fabric marking & artwork. Without a doubt, my favorite marker.
