I wasn't sure this would work. I've had a pair of LLBean water sneakers for at least 19 years. Infrequently worn, but when I pulled them out last summer, the rubber sneaker sole was half-separated from the shoe footbed. Of course, I couldn't find a replacement, so after reading reviews of various shoe repair glues, I gave this a try. I followed instructions and glued the soles back. Then I pulled them out for a spring break fishing trip last week...the shoe was like brand-new...no separation, no stiffness, no cracking!

Believe it or not this glue really works! I had tried Shoe Goo on a pair of shoes and it didn’t stay. So I sandpapered them and tried this glue. I actually did toe raises, etc. to see if it would separate it did not! Unbelievable, how it works so well.

So far, I am extremely please, though I cannot yet speak to the longevity. It goes on clear, but dries a dusty "super glue" white; so you need to be extremely careful not to let any squish out. I did not notice a smell or unpleasant vapors of any kind. It was pretty easy to clean of fingers using a little cuticle oil. I have repaired canvas Vans, leatherette/cork boots, and a pair of men's "dressy" sneakers, and still have almost a full bottle.

If you buy a crappy shoe, you need this stuff.

Very good product!I have two pairs of Johnston & Murphy shoes, and on both, the bottom of the sole started to detach a bit.I first tried to fix them with Gorilla Glue, but it didn't hold.On the other hand, this shoe glue's bond is both strong and flexible. Perfect!

Impressed. I have used another brand of shoe repair glue for years, but I feel like the recipe has changed and it’s not as effective as it used to be. I gave this product a chance and it has really impressed me. Part of the heel was coming off (they sure don’t make ‘em like they used to), but I caught it early. Tried the product out with some casual, normal days. Then, gave it the ultimate stress test doing multiple days of 20,000+ steps at Disney World. Still holding strong. Thank you.

Bought this to fix my sons Jordan’s that he ripped the bottoms off of and this glue worked very fast and effective. Don’t get it on your skin, it’s very strong and works great. The shoes are still going strong months later after applying

This stuff worked perfectly, the hiking boots that were coming apart, are now fully functional again! It really does set and hold in 45 seconds(or less) and is so easy to use.
