These have worked great for my children

I wish I'd come across these ages ago - having two kids who are close in age and ready to night time train at the same time, I was losing the will to live with the constant bedding changes. I had been using disposable puppy pads, but they move, wear out in a few nights if they aren't changed, and get expensive really quickly (at the rate we were using them). These are on the large size for toddler size beds, but tuck in well, don't move or seem to be uncomfortable or cause overheating. The size means that however the kids' sleep, the base sheet is always protected, so night time changes literally just involve whipping this protector off (I've never found they have more than one accident a night, so don't ever bother putting a fresh one on until the morning, to minimise disturbances). They wash well and dry pretty quickly, and even now that accidents seem to be a thing of the past, I'm still using them as insurance. A vital bit of kit for getting kids out of nappies at night in my opinion; they've certainly made my life a whole lot easier!

Good product, works well

These look ok, softness is good, good value for money, not best for stability but are ok overall, reasonable water resistance do tend to wrinkle up when you move about on them.

Caring for an elderly parent now doubly incontinent - fortunately not all the time but often enough to get caught out- challenging, to say the least. These bed pad protectors came highly recommended by other carers who took the trouble to answer my questions via the Amazon platform - and are a boon. They are reasonably priced and catch the worst of it so your bed and mattress doesn't have to. In fact one of them stood the test of (I apologise if I offend sensibilities) of a horrible bout of loose faecal incontinence, protecting the bedding beneath, the mattress, and the side of the bed because the 'tucks' also caught the worst of it. They are also washable but ... I couldn't face it. I have to admit I took one look, donned plastic apron, gloves , mask and just bagged the cover; reordered more, rather than soak and wash it for reuse. My mum's nightie went the same way. It was too much but if the cover hadn't been in place the mattress would have been utterly soiled and likely the divan bed frame too. Invest in some. And some more! My only reservation is they are not the most comfortable things to sleep on because they arrive folded and , even after ironing carefully, through an extra layer (a bath towel or such like to safeguard the protective properties) the 'fold lines' remain and tend to ridge in the same place. Get that sorted and you'll be better able to cope with those Princess and the 'Pee' or Poo moments. Joys of caring, eh?

I have son with disabilities who wets the bed on a regular basis. Changing the sheets can be a real pain because he has fitted sheets and his bed is against a wall. Got these and they have been a game changer! They are SO absorbent that there have been times I've only known he's wet the bed from his pants because the protector is stone dry. They don't even smell that bad. I can whip one off and another one on in seconds. I'm going to take them on holiday too. I don't normally write reviews but I honestly think these are a great product
