They don't get stuck. Good for clipping things you don't frequently unclip, and when you have to unclip they are easy enough to open. Also good for use with chain-hung light fixtures.

Can handle a good amount of weight

This link was just the thing to fix my purse strap where the decorative chain had broken. I looped this through the leather loop on the bag and the leather loop on the end of the strap and screwed it closed. It looks like it was made that way. No one will know it's a piece of hardware.The load limit is 440 pounds. No worries, I never have that much weight in my handbag.The rest of the connectors will end up in my spouse's stash of hardware bits and pieces. You never know when you might need one of these.

We used these for a swing. Used four links- one for the end of each chain. Sat on the bench for about 5 minutes and 3 of the links pulled right out of the connector. These are rated for 400lbs each we didn’t even have 250lbs on all four links.

I used these links to repair my sling bag. I broke off the plastic buckles and put this link in its place. I then used carabiners to join the links. I now know that the bag is very sturdy and won't break at the worst time. These links are very useful for utilitarians and their projects. These links are well made and screw open and close easily.

Small but very strong. You might need to apply a small drop of oil (I used plain shredder lube oil) to loosen it up a little bit but that's about all you need to do.
