Stunning and Immersive Platforming Adventure
Ori: The Collection on the Nintendo Switch is a masterpiece. It includes both Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps, two beautifully crafted games that combine challenging platforming with an emotional, immersive story. The visuals are breathtaking, with hand-painted art and fluid animations that bring the world to life. The soundtrack is equally stunning, perfectly complementing the game’s emotional highs and lows. Both games in the collection offer tight, responsive controls that make even the most complex platforming sections satisfying to play. The difficulty might challenge younger players at times, but the checkpoint system is forgiving enough to keep frustration to a minimum. The puzzles and combat are well-designed, providing variety throughout the journey.Whether you’re new to the series or revisiting it on the Switch, this collection is a must-play for fans of platformers and adventure games. It runs smoothly on the Switch, and the portability makes it even better. If you’re a fan of heartfelt storytelling and rich gameplay, this is a must-add to your library.

This is a great game!
I’m playing this on the easy setting because I’m new to gaming and old in years. It is SO beautiful! And the sound track is incredible! The game is engaging and beautiful to play.I imagine once I’m done playing it in the easy mode I’ll be able to play it again in a harder setting and even though I’ll know some of the tricks it’ll still be enjoyable.I never understood gaming before because all I saw was combat games and those just aren’t for me, I get it now with stories and enchanting visuals and music like this!

Love the game
The game is so much fun. I just received it, and it arrived on time (actually early) and undamaged. I have played before on the PC and I look forward to having it on my switch.

Good game and arrived in perfect condition.
The item arrived in perfect condition and with the cartridge inside the protector. I find no damage in the box, everything is sealed and new as indicated by the seller. Thank you very much and totally recommended!

Excellent game!
With so many games out there it's hard to complete games 100%. It's a metroidvania style game. I couldn't stop playing. And when you are done with the 1st there's a 2nd game. Both games were excellent!

Gorgeous, but not suited for beginners, which I am
Update 12/22/25:Ok so I needed to go find the online cheat sheets that describe some of what’s even possible which you do not know going in. It’s very annoying that Nintendo doesn’t ship these with any documentation whatsoever. For example the grapple and glide keys do nothing until you get far enough to equip yourself with those functions as skills. There are aspects of the menus that also don’t work until you get farther into the game. The controls may be common and therefore familiar to anyone who’s used a Switch before, which I have not, so you should take this with a grain of salt.I’ll add that this comes with both Ori releases but the cartridge is only for Wisp, the newer, larger, one. The other it seems has to be played online or possibly downloaded - haven’t figured that out yet. I do not want this online at all since I only have a cellular connection. Another very annoying thing is the nagging about the game being offline - they really, really want you connected when playing.I dropped a star for the lack of any docs and for the offline nagging. The game is equally playable with the joy-cons and with a ~$19 xbox style wireless controller. It also sounds very good with Shokz Open Move wireless bone-conduction headphones.Lastly, my other game device is an absolutely pristine DS lite, pristine because I never played it. The switch otoh is getting a lot of use. Ori is a very engaging game.Original:There is no documentation provided at all, like which controls on the switch work like they do on other platforms or what the icons mean. Things appear and disappear in the corners of the screen with no clue why or what they mean. Movement is crisp but some jumps are only doable one in six or seven or ten or an hundred attempts.Play, menus and controls are different from the PC/Xbox versions. I am unimpressed on switch. I’m reminded of 1990’s games which were tuned precisely to clock frequency and which became unplayable on dissimilar machines.I really want to like this game, the graphics and sound are really good, but it is just extremely unfriendly.
