LOVE!
Love, love, love. Was so disappointed when Ulta stopped selling but thankful to have found it on Amazon. Lifts my hair and makes it fuller.

Great for scalp
Worked really well on my scalp's flakiness and build-up. Very small amount for the price, like a sample size. Would use again.

Love the Microbeads
I just used this product in the shower and followed it with Biolage Color Last conditioner. As I was drying my hair I noticed it seemed like my hair’s natural body was back—It seemed cleaner and lighter.

New to Biolage products
I have been really looking for a shampoo/hair products that don't ruin my hair and totally dry out my scalp and hair. I bought several products and my hair is very happy. I can go 2 days between washes which O never could before because my hair would get too oily. This and other products are worth the money.

Shampoo Scrub?
If you’ve EVER visited a salon:✂️ Great Clips✂️ Fantastic Sam’s (are they even still around)✂️ Supercuts✂️ Regis✂️ WalmartThen you’ve likely run across some of these “top” hair care brands:🧴 John Paul Mitchell (JPM)🧴 Matrix🧴 Biolage🧴 Redken🧴 Great Clips (their salon only)🧴 Nexxus (now available in retailers)I’ve tried several of the brands listed. I LOVED one that I tried by Biolage, JPM was good, and Nexxus. I recently tried Redken and LOVE it. Jury is still out on the one Matrix set I got. This Biolage is a bit different – it is a AIO (all in one) product – scrub, shampoo, and conditioner. It works well as a scrub and shampoo, as a conditioner? My hair was left drier than straw. I used some Nexxus Keraphix Conditioner the next time, it worked like a charm. One interesting issue? My hair SQUEAKED after using this product. I’ve heard “squeaky-clean”, but my hair SQUEAKED after using this.I love the idea of the tube as I can SQUEEZE out what I need and use most of the product. This, for over $20, is NOT something I would get again and wouldn’t recommend. It is refreshing to use, but nothing I would use repeatedly.

My go to shampoo right now. When using it actually feels like it’s cleaning my hair. Worth the money.

Gives your hair a VERY deep cleaning!
I have combination hair that is oily at the roots and dry at the ends. Clarifying shampoos and similar products work great for removing scalp build up but can wreak havoc on my drier ends. I was worried that this product, being a scrub, might be even worse.I love the consistency! It's like a body or face scrub but for your hair. It is gritty but not overly abrasive. Even though it says that it's safe for color treated hair, I still think it may strip away the color. My hair isn't currently colored so I can't say with certainty but it does have some grit to it.The shampoo applies nicely and feels slightly cooling on my scalp. The first time I tried it, I applied it all over my hair. It left my hair feeling SQUEAKY clean yet difficult to manage, even after using conditioner. The next time I tried it, I only applied the scrub to my scalp and used my regular shampoo from mid hair shaft down to the ends. That worked MUCH better! I follow up with a good conditioner. I would not recommend this for anyone with super dry hair. I let my sister try the scrub and it DID NOT work for her!!! She has very dry hair and she couldn't even get a brush through it afterwards!!!!!!!!!!The fragrance is quite pleasant - citrusy, fresh, invigorating, and maybe a little floral. It doesn't linger on your hair long after drying.Since the scrub can be a bit drying, I only use it once per week for optimal results. My hair gets stripped of all the build up, oil, etc and my other products seem to work better afterwards.

made my hair feel dried out and coarse
i really wanted this to work well, I really wanted to like this, but one shampooing with this Biolage scrub and my hair was super dried out and coarse feeling. Even though it seemed so dried out and coarse it also seemed to get dirtier more quickly than usual too. Weirder still was that it took more than a couple shampooings back with my usual shampoo and conditioner to get my hair back to its normal condition and softness. I feel bad that I didn't try this shampoo more than once but at my age dry coarse hair is something to run away fast from. Too bad too because I like the brand. Since there was NO product information on the listing page I have uploaded photos of the ingredients and directions.

Lovely Biolage smell, huge lather - squeaky clean scalp
I am a Biolage lover - I have used their products for years and this one did not disappoint.Biolage all-in-one shampoo scrub is different from a shampoo in that it clarifies your scalp as well as your hair. Instead of gritty (mechanical) exfoliation, this one uses primarily AHA (chemical) exfoliation. Less abrasive, and more effective - in my opinion!I unfortunately really don't like the packaging. The product comes in a tube with a twist off top. This makes it very difficult to store in your shower as it does not stand up, it has to lay flat and takes up a lot of precious shower space. I would much prefer a regular shampoo bottle - like Biolage uses for the rest of their products. Even a big, flat lid (like a bottle of bodywash) would be preferred - anything so that I can stand this bottle up instead of having to lay it flat. The scent of this product is great. If you're familiar with Biolage - this shampoo scrub smells like all of their other products. Biolage uses one scent for all of their hair products - and I love it! This one is no exception. The scent is light and kind of herbal and lingers in the hair very faintly after rinsing. It's gender-neutral, I would say.I am Caucasian, with shoulder-length straight/frizzy hair. I struggle with my hair being flat and limp but also frizzy. This scrub has helped in both regards. When I first used this product, I measured out the same amount as I would for a normal shampoo. It was way too much! This product lathers up like crazy and a little goes a long way. I was concerned that it would be difficult to concentrate on my roots/scalp, but it wasn't - you could use one of those scalp scrubby brushes to help out if you have more hair than me. The shampoo scrub is only a tiny bit gritty - pretty gentle on the skin. The primary "scrubbing" action comes from the chemicals included - alpha hydroxy acid. AHA is something I'm quite familiar with as I use it on my face. A very, very basic run down of AHAs is that they provide a bit of exfoliation by removing the top layers of dead skin cells. This is great for the scalp AND the hair - get rid of the dead stuff on top so that scalp oils can distribute through the hair better and the scalp breathes better. You're going to want to make sure that you rinse your hair and scalp very well after using this product and do be aware that you have a higher risk of sunburn when using products containing AHAs - this is something I worry about in the summer but not the winter, given I live in Alberta, but worth noting.I really liked this shampoo scrub. Because it has only minimal "mechanical" scrubbers - there's no grit to have to try to rinse out of my strands. The product lathers really well, rinses cleanly - and left my scalp feeling "invigorated". My hair was less limp at the roots (less weighed down) and slightly less frizz throughout. I don't wash my hair every day and I've been pleasantly surprised to discover that after washing with this product, my day 3 hair is quite a bit less greasy. My husband has been using this product also and says that after two weeks (4 washes) he has noticed less dandruff. This type of product shouldn't be used every day - just a couple of times per week. My hair and scalp like this product - my scalp feels "squeaky clean" after using it. It does mention on the bottle that this product can also be used as a bodywash (which is basically true of every shampoo, isn't it?) but at this price point ($40 for a 250 mL tube at the time of review) I couldn't justify using it in that way. While this product is expensive, a little does goes a long way and using this 2x per week I think that this tube will last several months. Just remember to concentrate on your scalp and roots and then work the product through your strands from there - less is more. And rinse well! I will probably buy another tube of this Biolage shampoo scrub once this tube is finished - I really like it, it's a nice addition to my haircare routine.

Wonderful clarifying shampoo
My wife has been looking for a nice clarifying shampoo that removes hair product residue from shampoo and conditioners; this has met her needs. It is a thick product that you really need to work into your scalp but a small dollop was enough to do a head of medium length hair, meaning this tube should last a pretty long time. Although it is noted as a scrub, there were only a tiny number of noticeable scrub pieces which my wife says she didn't even notice once a healthy amount of lather is created. The rise is very easy and leaves your hair and scalp noticeably cleaner compared to other shampoos so you'll likely want to use a conditioner afterwards. I think the main exfoliant is the AHA, which is used in facial cleansers for smoothing and clarifying skin. There have been a few big bloggers who have promoted the use of AHAs for scalp care so my wife was over the moon that this has it included in the formula. My wife noted that her roots were nicely lifted after use as well which definitely can't be said about other products.Overall, very happy with this product; the only complaint we have for the product is the packaging, as a larger cap would have allowed it to stand up easier. Would keep this for occasional use, maybe once a week as a clarifying treatment, to help stretch out this premium product. Very impressed and would highly recommend to those wanting to get a clean scalp and head of hair.

Great scalp scrub, but takes some effort to fully rinse out
This is a great scalp scrub shampoo, that lathers nicely and smells wonderful. The amount for the cost is quite reasonable, especially since after the first couple uses I realized this is definitely a less is more type of product. The scrubbing granules are very fine, much finer than any other scrubby shampoo I’ve used before (LUSH, IGK and Christophe Robin are a few I’ve tried), making this feel more gentle overall, though I did struggle with completely rinsing it from my fine but thick hair at first, and actually had to get back in the shower to re-rinse my hair again since I’d managed to leave some sand-like deposits despite thoroughly rinsing (or so I thought) as well as conditioning and rinsing that from my hair as well.Overall, as long as I don’t use too much, I now have less issues with fully ringing this from my hair, and I use it once every couple of weeks as a deeply clarifying scalp scrub that leaves my scalp and hair feeling fresh and clean. I always follow with a super hydrating conditioning treatment as well, since this can leave my hair feeling a bit dry.

Deep Clean Scrub, Fresh Natural Scent & Vibrant Hair
[PROS] 👍✔ Fresh Natural Scent✔ Deep Clean Scrub✔ Hair Looks More Vibrant[CONS] 👎✘ Expensive[PRODUCT EXPERIENCE] ★ ★ ★ ★ ★👉 The Biolage all in one shampoo scrub has an authentic natural smell that's not overpowering and more subtle. The application process is simply a few a small amount of on the hands and once it touches my hair, it foams up immediately when in contact. I spend a solid 1-2 minutes massage scrubbing my hair and can tell deep cleaning is taking place because my scalp has a strong freshness feeling the more I scrub. In-fact, it feels similar to getting my hair washed at a high end hair salon after I get my hair cut. I've had the chance to use additoinal Biolage hair care products and they've all been fantastic.Over the course of a week I use the Biolage 4 times and did notice that my hair is more lively and vibrant. This has become one of the better shampoos I've received to review over the years because it has everything I look for in a shampoo. The price is expensive however, it's a quality product that will have everything you're looking for.

great deep clean
If you're willing to get past the price tag, you're getting a shampoo/scrub that will get in there a leave your head - hair and scalp - squeaky clean (and your body if you so chose).I need to apply a decent mount to wash my daughter's hair with it (long flowing hair) and did my wife (massive lion's mane). For myself, it was reasonable as I have short hair.We all agreed that if you took the time to scrub, you got your scalp clean, which helps remove residue left behind by gels and pomades (this applied to me). This is not a shampoo/scrub I recommend you use daily, or even weekly. It lathers ok, and the scent is quite nice, leaves your hair super clean. You have to condition if after this.Definitely a great product for that occasional deep clean.I wouldn't use this on my body, only because the cost would be prohibitive to go through these tubes so often as you need much more to wash your body with.
