Buy A Heat Transfer Textbook: Fifth Edition (Dover Books on Engineering) Reprint by Lienhard, John (ISBN: 9780486837352) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: The book came just as described. My problem is that this is the worst textbook I have ever used. The provided solution manual has incorrect solutions and is very difficult to follow. The examples in the book are difficult to follow and often skip steps. It is difficult to look up information in the book as well. I looked up 'resistance', the index told me to refer to 'Thermal resistance'. There is no 'Thermal resistance' in the index. Worst book I've ever used for a college-level course and I have no faith in the content based on the mistakes I've found in the book and solution manual. This book should not be used for teaching.

The book came just as described. My problem is that this is the worst textbook I have ever used. The provided solution manual has incorrect solutions and is very difficult to follow.
