The pieces are very thick and have a snug fit so that you can lift small groups of assembled pieces without them falling apart. The puzzle comes with a key showing where all the "S" objects are in the image. This picture is very high resolution with tons of detail. This is a very unique and high quality puzzle that would make a wonderful gift. I love that it's part of a series and that we're like to see many more!
