I rated my metal bed frame 3 stars because of 2 issues (-1 star for each issue):#1 The top of my frame has two pointed parts, which were formed by one or more materials that were melted to hold parts of the frame together. Before I noticed this issue and dealt with it, I tore the bottom surface of my mattress and worsened the torn areas multiple times by sliding it along the top of this frame.#2 I’ve sometimes slid my mattress at least an inch along the top of this frame when my intent wasn’t to move the mattress; this combined with issue #1 has resulted in the bottom of my mattress having become increasingly torn.I’ve noticed a 3rd issue, but I didn’t use this to decide my rating: each time that I’ve been on my bed and engaged in a physically intimate activity, this frame has constantly emitted distracting sounds.According to one of the descriptions listed on Amazon’s page for this product, this frame “Replaces the bed frame and box spring,” but I haven’t experienced any of these 3 issues when I’ve used a wooden box frame.

Nice and Sturdy!After reading numerous positive reviews, I ordered this last Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised that this arrive yesterday despite all of the snow laying around here in Boston.. Thank you for the speedy delivery and thanks for a well made, sturdy little frame.It is VERY easy to set up: unfold the frame, lock the legs, and it fits like a glove for your twin bed. I wish I had bought this a lot sooner. I am hooked. My sole complaint I that FEDEX threw it around before finally dropping it off at my house. It was torn, dirty, and pretty banged up ( bed)This is not the seller's fault. I will be purchasing this one again. Buy this and you will be satisfied.

Works fine for its purpose. It is light weight, sturdy and will slide around easy on teflon pads. That can be good or bad, meaning when I make the bed it moves easily even with a foam mattress. I felt the frame and there wasn't any burs to snag the mattress but as insurance I covered it with a pad. Since I am doing some remodeling in the near future, folding up this frame and moving it will be very helpful.

Used this several nights when company arrived, used an air mattress on it, slept great, oh and another poster said to use a yoga mat to hold your air mattress in place and I can confirm that is what I did and it did indeed keep it in place, thanks other poster for the tip!

Bed frame seems to squeak any time you move. This is annoying, if you don't move and sleep like a vampire your fine, but if your a borrowing badger and you move around a lot to find your spot, it's not the best.

I have used this on travel for an air mattress as well as a regular mattres in my house. Great buy! Easy to transport and set up. Will hold up to 300 lbs.

Perfect for replacing the wooden slats that come with platform beds. I replaced the wooden slats on two beds because they broke easily. This frame is easy to put together and light weight.

I was surprised by the design of the frame, as well as the simplicity of use. The frame is extremely sturdy! I am very pleased with my purchase.
