It's a cool little replica that makes you wish you were 7 inches tall so you could swing it around like Lion-o. Would you rather have a full size sword or be a tiny lille thundercat so that this seems full sized... obviously, everyone would rather be a tiny thundercat, big swords are heavy.

Beautiful Mini Sword
This is a beautiful miniature representation of the sort of Omens from the '80s television series ThunderCats! It's quite heavy for being a 8 inch sword and comes with an acrylic display stand. Factory Entertainment did a great job with this scaled prop replica!

SOMETIMES, SIZE DOESN'T MATTER!
I ordered this for The Husband's birthday. I squealed when I realized what had just arrived. (I get multiple Amazon deliveries, don't judge!)The Husband asked me what's up, and I was like "Your birthday present!"I giggled.Hastily I unwrapped the package and was surprised by the size of the box. I looked at him and smiled with satisfaction.He smiled back when he saw what it was. YES! Hewas about to get blown away.I passed it to him and asked him to please take his time and be gentle when opening it. And he did.My smile grew wider and wider as did his. And then he pulled it out.I WAS SHOCKED!I gasped at the sight of it. The Husband laughed with glee seeing the expression on my face! I was dumbfounded.PICTURES INCLUDED!If this was not a lesson of it's not the size of the sword, but the heft and hardness of the steel then I don't know what is!!PS: This is a great miniature replica. Not sure about the cost, but the packaging is great. Quality of the sword is superb. Very good detailing on the handle. Other than the length, I am overall pleased! So I did see the dimensions. But I thought it was the length of the actual blade not realizing it was the overall size of the sword!

Great sword, subpar display stand
The sword is awesome, and is everything I hoped for it to be at a roughly 1:6 scale.The display stand however has terrible fitment issues. I saw in videos online that the clear plastic tabs fit very loosely into the slots of the base and figured I could fix that with some tack, mine however are too tight to even go in. I may try to fix this by filing down the thickness, but this is not something I should have to do for a reasonably pricey product.The stand is not what you are buying this set for so I am docking only one star, but I did pay for the stand as well so I feel the docking of a star is warranted.
